Is Life a Dialogue or a Monologue?

How do you feel about Only on Thursdays?
Bob, you will never die. Your body will die. Your person will die. But you will never die. I bow to your self but not the ego.

I'm off to take a shower. Have a great day, Bob. :)

What about multiple personalities in the same person ? How many consciences are we talking about in those cases? Do they communicate with each other or do they usurp the individual's overall consciousness seamlessly?

Does that feed into the question as to whether there can be a group (or life-wide) consciousness?

Again if life itself is one compartment of the physical universe can we attribute retroactively some of the properties of life to that of the inanimate universe (same but different--one emerges from the other, perhaps inevitably)

What is a person? What is an identity?
Well yes,but I was wondering if the phenomenon had any relevance to the OP.

A person is a human being. An identity (I guess) can be both subjectively and objectively defined and would not be the same thing.

There was that case recently of the American woman who self identified as "black" despite her family background.

Humans adopted by animals have been known to identify themselves as part of the group (quite reasonably,I would imagine)

I'm not trying to convert you.
Convert me?? According to you we are all the same god thing. On another thread in reply to ''what is a god'' you replied:
Everything...including you.
BTW...Could you please answer my earlier question here...
So, you give thanks via your bowl of porridge, to an experimenting god? But, you say you are god ''experiencing itself as other''.
So, that's a god thanking itself.
Why does a god thank itself?
Repeat: why does a god thank itself?
New question... How does a god ''convert'' itself?
Please answer both. Remember according to you this is god asking you to answer.

These threads evolve on their own. I think our identity can affect how we relate to others.

A person is a human being

Persona
A persona, in the word's everyday usage, is a social role or a character played by an actor. The word is derived from Latin, where it originally referred to a theatrical mask. The Latin word probably derived from the Etruscan word "phersu", with the same meaning, and that from the Greek πρόσωπον.

An identity (I guess) can be both subjectively and objectively defined and would not be the same thing.
I disagree.

There was that case recently of the American woman who self identified as "black" despite her family background.
How did "black" become an identity?

Humans adopted by animals have been known to identify themselves as part of the group (quite reasonably,I would imagine)
So our environment is also responsible for defining who we are, giving us an identity?

Convert me?? According to you we are all the same god thing.
Because we are. If SweetPea wants to be a person, she is free to be one. Happiness is where you find it.

Repeat: why does a god thank itself?
Why not? Certainly it's not a requirement.

New question... How does a god ''convert'' itself?
How does God see himself is the better question.

Please answer both. Remember according to you this is god asking you to answer.
You're doing your best.
