The room has one door. There's a puddle of water in the middle of the room. In one corner of the room is a light bulb box with a burnt out bulb in it. There's a recently fitted new bulb in the light fitting, which is on the twelve foot ceiling. The guy hasn't opened the door since the new bulb was fitted and there's nothing else in the room. How did he change the bulb?

Alright Concider this There are 8 girls sitting around a table. In the middle of the table, there are 8 apples in a basket. One by one, each girl takes an apple.
