Yes we all make mistakes but if you are looking for information regarding Physics, do you read a physics text book written by a physicist or ask your mate down the pub?

I cited Francesca Stavrakopoulou but I read others, other scholars that is, why would I read anyone other than a qualified professional?

Sometimes I watch them debating, scholars with different views.
Occasionally, for fun I watch a Biblical scholar debate a theologian and THAT is different.
That is a person who understands what the Bible IS talking to a person who understands what the Bible MEANS.

The first does not necessarily think any of it is real the second usually does.

Ah, now I begin to follow what the discussion about troll behaviour is about, on the other thread.

There seems to be a certain immaturity in the input from this person. I wonder if we (well, you and Pinball1970 , I'm not:) ) are dealing with a teenager. Do you think that is possible?

I guessed 16 or 17. Also the first teenager I have met who can do less on the internet, say translate a post, than me.

That might account for some of the reliance on family members as authorities and the naïve remarks about Russia vs. Europe, Putin, etc.

Everyone has been quite accommodating. I reported Olga so she would move her arse and find a solution to the language/translation issue. James said, "You don't have to reply to her" Fair enough.
Then I thought, "Imagine living in a country at war, governed by a dictator?"
So, the soft arse part of me is posting translating again and ignoring the snide asides.
If she is young then she may take some positives.

Hey c'mon guys. It's one thing to call out specific behaviour but this is just an ad hom pile-on.

Yeah but you're psycho-analyzing them as if they're not even in the room. Surmising their age means labeling them - addressing them as an age (which is a pigeonhole), not a person.

Это не зависимость от членов семьи, а уважение к ним. Они всегда были для меня примером.

Пинбол, но ведь и монахи в монастырях всю свою жизнь посвящают изучению своей религии. Я знаю некоторых из них, у которых тоже по несколько университетов за плечами. Они раньше часто гостили у меня, и в том числе из Киево-печёрской Лавры, и у меня была возможность пообщаться с ними на эти темы. Почему вы думаете, что они менее квалифицированны, чем этот ваш профессор?

Пинбол, вся моя семья на том свете, а я осталась на этом. Вот так бывает. Я рано осталась сиротой. Брат попал в ДТП, 9 операций, не помогли даже лучшие московские госпитали. Родители начали болеть, у отца случился инфаркт, у мамы инсульт. Несколько месяцев подряд я только хоронила. Операции, реанимации, кладбище. У нас была хорошая семья, мы всегда заботились друг о друге. Бывают семьи, из которых бегут едва получив паспорт. У нас было не так.
