Right even though you are reading the texts translated to Russian?
You know because translating from English to Russian and back, modern languages has zero issues right?
So ancient Hebrew would have even less issues? Or more?

Вы знаете в чём особенность православной церкви? Почему она до сих пор ведёт свои службы на церковнославянском языке? Для того, чтобы сохранить в чистоте само учение. В священные книги запрещено что то добавлять или убавлять, чтобы не исказить первоначальный смысл. Монастыри - это тоже своего рода НИИ(научно исследовательские институты), в которых исследованиями религии занимаются профессионалы, отказавшиеся ради этого от всех земных благ - монахи. Это будет покруче, чем изучающий это ради учёных званий и наград.

Well, you've attacked pinball about who he trusted as an authority. That seems unwarranted. We all have authorities we trust - you included - so I don't see why you did this, unless it was merely to turn a civil discussion into an argument.

I'm not really interested in a pissing contest about who is the more gullible about trusting their experts, so I think I'm going to step back.

No. The ancient scrolls ARE written in these languages. Just check out the virgin birth issue, that was a translation issue.
We have had issues, modern Russian to English, you know this!

У меня есть авторитеты, непререкаемые авторитеты - это мой отец и брат. А других я не знаю настолько, чтобы им безоговорочно доверять. У меня было такое в жизни не раз, что тот, кого ты уважала, по разным причинам это уважение терял.

Are we supposed to take your word that they are "indisputable" in their authority? That's kind of the opposite of indisputable.
