Also, "The Sopranos" was great, as was "Carnivale"

Thats pretty much my list!

I saw the first season of The Sopranos. Amazing show.

I was about to suggest lectures from professors, but I don't think it is what you have in mind....

Anyways, I suggest Space Battleship Yamato when it comes out of Dec. 1st. Also, the new Gundam 00 movie will be awesome, I am looking forward to those two. I don't know what you have and have not watched.

i just watched "man on fire". that was a great movie. so was "the book of eli", "american gangster", "deja vu", and "fallen".

i watched a movie called "holy smoke" the other night. that was different.

you have to see "bladerunner" if you haven't.

i caught the end of "devil's rejects" the other night, and i wish i had seen the rest of the movie. the ending was pretty bad-ass. good soundtrack too.

I'm not sure that movie was appropriate for you, young lady.

Here's my movie recommendation: Don't see Inception.

I guess I should say something positive.

The best movie I have seen recently was:

Joshua (2007)

IMDB
Preview and DL

My favorite scene is when he decides to give away all his toys, except for one stuffed bear. His dad is kind of touched by his attachment to his bear, but then Joshua picks up some scissors and cuts it's face off, starts pulling out stuffing. He explains that "in Egypt, when they embalm people like pharaohs, they broke the nose and removed the brain through the opening. They drain the body of all it's fluid on a special stone slab, this guarantees him a glorious afterlife. They chanted something too, but I'm making that part up. [humming]".
