Trump may want to give jobs to his own countrymen, but the cost of that is higher price of goods. That's okay, if the US want to buy US-made toasters at $100 a time, while the rest of the world pay just $20 for Chinese-made.

Of course, how silly of me! I forgot that the Astral Processing Center allows each soul to select the womb they will be born from. Yup, the working class are just stupid and lazy, so no point in helping them. In fact, we need to go Full Darwin and design the economy so that they become destitute and homeless when an emergency medical need arises. Kill em off quicker that way, less bother all around.

I find it loathsome to not understand reality. The problem isn't one is "disadvantage" and that's why they are making poor decisions. If you have a job, you should have some savings. If you are poor it is usually predominately your fault. How else's fault is it if one is poor?
On a scale of 1 to 10, how loathsome did the people of Houston find you to be?

Literally yes. A society where people have savings for emergencies is a more resilient society with less overall misery.
If you were born a poor black woman with spina bifida in Mississippi, do you think your life would have turned out the same as it did? Would you be as successful?

That is worse than a society where most people have jobs and can save - and do.
Nope. I am suggesting that it's easy to say that everyone should be successful as you were, even though they did not have the advantages you did.
