Whats up with the ps3?

So you would prefer a 360.
That's up to you I guess... but you're gonna miss out on the final fantasys and all of the other sony brand games...
 
I'll just have to find a friend with a ps3 then (oh and the last 2 final fantasy games where meh at best)
 
And N equating the loss of games from the playstation three is insane.
He simply hasn't touched it.

I've already posted a couple examples of a loss of games from the PS3 where developers either quit, switched to a different console, made an exclusive game multi-platform, made a previously exclusive game for another platform and not even make it crossplatform, or admits it's way too expensive to develop games for the PS3. That shows a lack of developers which means a lack of games, which means a lack of great games. I wouldn't call Capcom some lil ol' company.

I can post many more examples if ya like, but I'm not trying to bash the PS3 too hard. ;)

All the other exlusive games? You make it sound like a lot. No, the few good exclusive games. Sony lost most of their great exclusive games. Heck, some Playstation-only franchises have moved completely away from the PS3 and to other consoles, not even bothering to make it crossplatform so PS3 people can play it.

Everyone is aware at how much better a playstation 3 is.

Yeah, they're so aware that the PS3 has only sold less than half the 360 or Wii, mmhmm.

Whatever. You can win if you want. Most people prefer a ps3. But, interestingly you could be right. I doubt it, though, from what I've heard.

i mean i'm freaking hooked...

and i haven't even made lieutenant yet and gotten that G3...

It was released before the Wii yet the Wii has outsold the 360. ;)

Um, how can most people prefer a PS3 when the Wii and 360 each have sold over twice as many PS3s? :confused:

then why do most people own an xbox 360 or Wii?

Oh, yeah. I love halo. My user name is the same as here, if you ever want to play. I was also a big fan of Mech Assault. But I hate the sequel, and the first one won't play on the 360.

Right now I'm waiting till Xmas to get a new copy because my son traded in his copy to get mass effect. I'd just go buy one, buy my wife is getting it for me, so now I have to wait.

I want to see it on top, but the Xbox360 is comming along just great. It has a wealth of RPGs, and first person shooters. It looks like a great system, while the Wii is failing tremendously.

Not to say that the Wii is failing, exactly. It's a great system and everyone loves it.
But as far as hardcore gamers go, the 360 and PS3 are the main ones.

My main question (I think), is what's up with the ps3.

I just got one and I'm amazed by it.
It should infact be the main consol system that there is, not only because there is a blue ray player for a thousand dollars already comming with the system but, I think it is going to start having more better titles come out, ...

I was on board with the PS3 untill I saw the $600 price tag. This where PS3 got stupid. The Blue Ray ...was stupid. Bad choices but a great system.

The 360...It's Microsoft...what can we say they know how to make money.
But I won't touch it. I wont by it for there price either nor will I buy a system that burns down houses and has as defective as this one is as it roled off the market. I'll stick with the PC which this system is attempting to clone. neither will I by 30$ memory cards for 30Kb...(that's ridiculous we can by 2 GIG for 20 bucks... Microsoft is a money whor...They can keep Halo

The Wii is the system everyone underestimated but Nintendo learned some things from the past CUBE fiasco. It had it's moments but the've clearly found the endge. This will be a wonderful come from behind victory. This feather weight system has shown it's not necessary to break the bank to have fun at home or in groups...Playing the Wii is a joy and it takes gaming to an all new level...It's easy and user friendly...Finally the gamers are moving again...getting off the couch and realizing muscles were made to do something other than press buttons.

So heres to the next Generation....The Us...the Playstation 4...or the XBox 720. For now the Wii is on top.
 
Blue ray is the only thing keeping PS3 in the game...I know a guy that is a 360 gamer that is buying the ps3 just for blue ray.
