The gene is the biological unit of heredity. The genotype of a living organism determines its phenotype.
The entire hereditary information of a living organism is called the genome.
Natural selection has the effect of promoting the abundance of some genes over others in a population, thus causing evolution.
Eugenics is the field of self directed human evolution by external manipulation of the genetic make up of the human genome. Its the fancy word for racism.
