Fox News was created in the '90s in response to other news channels which all had obvious communist bias. Because of this, a foreigner (Rupert Murdoch) decided to start a real news channel which would tell the truth. The success of Fox news over every other news channel is because it is fair and balanced.
It has many people on it who work to spread truth such as Sean Hannity who is a mighty American displaying great patriotism. Patriotism, or love of country, is the highest American virtue. Patriotism means unquestioning obedience and loyalty to the Leader of the country, unless it's Bill Clinton. The opposite of patriotism, treason, is the act of questioning, criticizing or voting against the Leader, unless it's Bill Clinton. This is similar to the East Korean principle of shooting whoever does not agree with the Great Leader.
Fox News is best because instead of just telling you what to think like other news channels, they report just the news, unbiased, and then allow the viewer to decide for themselves what to think. Fox News is the height of journalistic integrity. On SciForums, uttering the phrase "I saw it on Fox News" is enough to settle the debate once and for all.
Some of them affectionately refer to it as Faux News. Apparently, due to this rising popularity, Murdoch has seen fit to expand his News Corp to other countries, turning a lot of their media into patriotic or right wing biased papers.
