Trump 2.0

I wouldnt worry, Rusia is LARGEST country in t world and self suficient in ALL natural resources, they have no need to take over anyone.
Putin didn't choose to invade Ukraine for resources (although it does have valuable resources). He did it for ideological reasons.

His mistake was that he thought he could capture the country quickly and install a puppet government. Turns out, he was very wrong about that.

Ukrain shtshow would never hapen IF WE ( the cia) didnt overthrow its Gov and put neonazi zelinsky dictator in power.
Check your facts. The US didn't put Zelensky into power.

The neo-nazi claim is ludicrous. It's amazing that anybody in the west with access to the internet would buy that piece of propaganda. Stupidity truly has no limits.
And broke promise to Rus not to expand NATO closer to their border.
When did NATO expand? Before or after the Russian invasion?
Read Scott Ritter extra the frmr UN nuke weapons inspector or watch Judge Napolitano
Who are those people?

Sometimes, yes. That's because there are some news organizations that I trust - that, over time, have provided reliable and relatively unbiased information.
So there will be no problem determining whether any of Trump's policies turn out to be effective or not.

Those organizations are no longer allowed in the Pentagon. And of course this is just the beginning.

When only state-approved media is allowed to report, only state-approved news will be reported.

Do you have to be located in the Pentagon to report? If less Fentanyl comes into our country, that will probably be reportable. Or we could just give up?

Yes, you have to be in the Pentagon to report on Pentagon briefings.

If less Fentanyl comes into our country, that will probably be reportable.
If government agencies are instructed to report lower numbers, or no numbers, then no, it won't be reportable. And Trump has already directed several government agencies to stop reporting to the public.
Or we could just give up?
Or we could have an independent press who can access our government without ideological litmus tests being applied. Crazy idea, I know.

Do you think Mexican troops along the border and American troops along the border is a good thing or a bad thing?

#FuckShitUp | #WhatTheyVotedFor

It's not just that Trump used a photo of a river in Vermont, but, really, the malice stands out.

CBS News↱ explains:

Following the deadly wildfires in Los Angeles in January, President Trump ordered the Army Corps of Engineers to release billions of gallons of water from two reservoirs in California's Central Valley, more than 100 miles away from the fire zones.

Mr. Trump had claimed that California withheld water supplies that could have made a difference in fighting the flames. California Gov. Gavin Newsom and other officials disputed those claims.

Now, the water released from dams at Lake Kaweah and Lake Success is rushing into a dry lakebed in the Central Valley, where experts say it can't flow to Southern California and will likely go to waste.

"There is absolutely no connection between this water and the water needed for firefighting in L.A.," said Peter Gleick, a climate and hydrology expert. "There's no physical connection. There's no way to move the water from where it is to the Los Angeles basin."

Remember↗, Trump is "doing what he said he was going to do", and "exactly what the majority of of voters elected him to do". Dishonest, incompetent malice really is what they voted for.

"The farmers in the basin own the water and that water is stored in these dams in the winter, during the rainy season, so that farmers can use it in the very hot, long, dry summer season," [Gleick] explained.

From the perspective of the farmers, he said, the water is "assumed to be lost."

California Sen. Adam Schiff, a Democrat, said the release of the water also presented a risk of flooding.

"I think even the water managers got only a short bit of notice to say, 'Please don't. You can't do that. That's way too much water,'" he said. "And frankly, had they not talked the Army Corps off the ledge, there would've been serious flooding. It would have been an even bigger problem."

As one of the rude fandom↗ put it, "New Sheriff, new rules, new realities." It's all about "attitudes" and "perspectives", and has very little to do with fact, reality, or even basic functionality.

?? Are you talking about the press here, or is there a reason for the sudden change in topic?
This all started when I said the Trump tariff negotiation ploy seemed to be working. Someone said you couldn't trust the Trump press, you commented as well and took it in another direction I guess, and here we are.

My original comment was about troops on the border being better than no troops on the border (Mexican troops) and my statement that it seems to be working.

Sure, Hegseth just kicked out all of the reporters from the Pentagon and brought in OAN and Breitbart among other far right media. I'm sure we'll get spot on reporting from the Trump admin. He's already deemed the plane crash in DC as the fault of dei.
Which other news agency do you think he should have in their?

Unfortunately he hasn't gotten anything new. Biden had Mexico put 10,000 troops on the border back in 21/22. Crossings were at their lowest in the last couple of years of Biden's term, if not just the last. And Canada had already agreed to the $1.3bn or so back in December.
So Trump has now ostensibly wrecked his own economic policy if tariffs tariffs tariffs (funding everything including childcare) for what amounts to insignificant gains over what had already been agreed.
Yay for Trump. ;)

Not necessarily only state approved news.

It could be state approved lies.Or state approved bile.Or state approved treason/treachery.

OK.

In that case, I don't think troops along the border are a good thing.

Do you think that a free and independent press, able to report on the actions of government, is a good thing or a bad thing? Or a don't-care?

Which other news agency do you think he should have in their?
AP. Reuters. For starters. But really, any that want to be there. We've been doing this for hundreds of years now without a problem. It is only now, when a corrupt, criminal administration has something to hide, that they are starting to ensure that the people of the United States are not being informed.
