An interesting fact, did you know the more agressive (in seeking a partner sence of the word) sex varies depending on the distribution of males to females by area. For instance in SA males vastly outnumber females so males tend to be vary outgoing in seeking mates where as in Victoria where the reverse is true males tend to be persued by females

Perhaps the root of your problem lies in the fact that you're only out to have sex with the women you wish to converse with? That seems pretty shallow to me. I highly doubt your questionable aesthetics cause the problem: there are women aplenty who are uglier than you.

My goal is to find someone who attracts me personality wise, and that means she has to be interested in science and pursue science just as strongly as I pursue it...so far I have not met any girl who is just as eager as me and is also will be willing to converse with me.

Don't ask me: I've never been in a serious relationship. I like my freedom too much for that.

Personally, I think your best bet is to pursue a relationship in your homeland. For the time being, it certainly couldn't hurt to at least socialize with other people, and maybe even (God forbid) make new friends. I mean, we can hardly get you to shut up when you're on Sciforums, as your second-highest post count would indicate; try to carry over some of that talkativeness to reality.

Damn, I feel so weird right now, giving genuine, heartfelt advice to another person. Value these moments from me, draq, for history shows they don't last long.

Look...Asguard, my problem with society is that I am at constant war with it...I am not a small guy, I am large framed, I look like I might be a boxer. Everyone treats me as a "possible hazard", it smiling to people does not help either...I just don't have the "friendly" outlook. And in classes is war, noone ever helpes...it is constant battle for grade for me. "Study groups"...are for cute guys and girls who chose their partners from beginning of the class. I become an alien, sitting in the corner, and when I conversate, people generally get out of conversation, and leave some time after. Going back through my life, every time I tried to make a social bond with people I was lied to and taken advantage of, so I became a wolf of a sort, lonely wolf...thats who I am. The truth.

Now, once again, I have no problem. I have no problems. All is well. Everything is good.

Draqon, whether you're looking for a partner or just sex, neither will happen if you don't talk to women in real life! How will you know if someone shares your passion for science if you don't talk to them? I mean, you could see someone give a lecture on science perhaps, or maybe they post on the internet in a science forum, but this won't help you find a partner, nor will it get you laid.
