Just to be fussy...some of the Jews were there all along. But there are differences. Interestingly enough the Jews who were there all along tend to be looked down on by the newcomers. They are a higher class than the Palestinians, but Ashkenazi's are first class.

Let's say for a second they were not a people. Many individuals were removed from their lands. Humans are not tactics. And in the removal they were groups and categorized.

Not all along. They were invited by Umar. Before that the Egyptians brought them as slaves. Before that the Assyrians had them as labourers. In any case, they were nomadic labourers from somewhere near the Turks and Kurds, with whom they share the most genetic markers.

No Sephardim are looked down on. Not so easy to get an apartment or a job, etc. In fact those Jews genetically closest to the Palestinians are looked down on. Not to speak of other darker non-Askenazi Jews.
