How does Webb "Zoom out?" Does some technician at ESA turn a knob? Alter the shutter speed too?

Then, the earth is a square, like a Borg ship. You will assimilate this information and accept it as true. Resistance is futile.
Yet, this phenomenon never happens any other time except when focusing on objects with huge gravities, ie. black holes, galaxies. So no, it's not the camera,, lens or anything else. The actual phenomenon is being captured as it is occurring.
You said there is no such thing as gravity, which means there's no such thing as mass, according to your logic.

Reported as off-topic. This thread is about gravity and rotation rate. It is not about bending of spacetime.
There is no bending of spacetime in Newtonian gravity. Gravity is simply modeled as a force between objects.

Mass creates gravity; gravity results in warpage of spacetime.
They also prove time dilation. Those satellites have to adjust their clocks to account for relativity. If they did not, GPS would quickly become unusable as the clocks drifted relative to stationary clocks.
Spacetime is indeed bent. Those images do not show a curved line. They show light sources bent by the gravitational lensing caused by objects between the source and us. If you think it's like a fisheye lens that makes it look curved, you don't understand the discussion.
