Is ESP real?

The experiments are far from conclusive, so once again: where's the proof?
Don't you know?

Proof is arrived by the following process

1 wacky idea + 1 wacky scientists
Add them together to perform
1 wacky experiment
Fit the wacky results to fit the wacky conclusion you required
Write a wacky book and go on a wacky tour
Find a few wacky people to promote the wacky ideas (no matter how wacky)
Someone will agree that all the wackyness put together conclusively proves the wacky idea
Presto - PROOF has been achieved
If you don't accept the proof that's YOUR problem
You have been provided with it
It's your fault you have rejected it

:)

Did I mention YOU are the wacky one because of your rejection
Welcome to the wacky world

:)

The progression of science has been a gradual acceptance of things we formerly thought too wacky to be real---that an electron can be many places at the same time, that time is relative, that distant particles can be entangled in their spins, that there can be a hole in spacetime, that light can be a particle and a wave at the same time, or that everything exploded from a singularity the size of pea. This is not as much a comment on what is fact or fiction as it is on our arbitrary estimate of what is wacky and "wooish" and therefore impossible. We should probably just let that bias go and go where the evidence leads us.

Obviously that is what has been done and that's why ESP isn't taken seriously.

What a great Earth shattering brilliant magnificent idea
As soon as you provide, what did you say it was called, oh that's right, ev-i-d-ence, for wacky ideas we can indeed see where it leads us

:)

The presentiment effect:

I should keep this a secret but I can predict the future.
I only use the power for good and don't take advantage of it by picking loto numbers or that sort of thing.
Its a burden really.
Its like someone telling how the book ends before you get there.

We've crucified men for less than that.

That's what I thought. Another unevidenced claim by skeptics.

You do realize that we don't have to spend the rest of our lives chasing down this nonsense. For anything to be taken seriously it has to be submitted and tested by peers. That how it works for evolution and that's how it would have to work in this case.

Mr You Tube needs to get off You Tube and present the proper evidence to the scientific community just like everyone else.

Fine. Then stay ignorant. But don't try to pass off your claims as anything like objective assessments of the field of research in question. You speak from ignorance. Why would anyone take what you say about it seriously?

Yeah..the old "Youtube videos are fake" argument. I guess all those science lectures and TED talks are no good then.
