Absolutely, the criteria and methods of obtaining acceptable evidence are not different from one thing to the next.Is the criteria for obtaining evidence the same for the existence of electrons, abiogenesis, or the evolution of the humming bird? Or do you require different standards of application based on what is already understood about the particular subject?
"Arguments" are not acceptable evidence of anything. The cosmological argument is evidence from the beginning if the universe.
If the evidence shows that "something above others" is not necessary, why invent its necessity? As I've argued here (or was it in the split-off thread? I can't recall) it depends on what you mean by "evidence". Do you mean along the lines of "something that fits the theory" or "something that promotes the theory above others" (or similar).
Arguments based on evidence are"Arguments" are not acceptable evidence of anything.
Because the so called evidence you mention is nothing but you’re personal opinion, which doesn’t count as actual evidence. If the evidence shows that "something above others" is not necessary, why invent its necessity?
No, they are not, they are still only just arguments.Arguments based on evidence are
An evidence based argument builds the case for its claim out of available evidenceNo, they are not, they are still only just arguments.
We are both saying the same thing, evidence is key, an argument is not evidence. An evidence based argument builds the case for its claim out of available evidence
Yes arguments based on evidence is evidence. We are both saying the same thing, evidence is key, an argument is not evidence.
No, they're just discussions of the evidence. Jurisprudence.Yes arguments based on evidence is evidence.
Nope, not even close. An argument is not evidence. An argument is an exchange of views, opinions or facts, so the argument itself is not evidenceYes arguments based on evidence is evidence.
Truer words were never spoken.Because the so called evidence you mention is nothing but you’re personal opinion, which doesn’t count as actual evidence.
If an argument is all you have, then you have no evidence.I disagree.
But regardless it is my evidence.
An argument once again by definition is an exchange of views, ideas opinions and even facts. That does not make the argument evidence, it allows the exchange back and forth of those views, etc.Yes arguments based on evidence is evidence.
I say let’s move on. That is my evidence irrespective of what you think. If an argument is all you have, then you have no evidence.
An argument once again by definition is an exchange of views, ideas opinions and even facts. That does not make the argument evidence, it allows the exchange back and forth of those views, etc.
See the difference?
