Im just being lighthearted Pinball. People make colourful remarks about God, theists, and the concept of God and you don't seem to mind.

Education is important, there could be youngsters on here who actually think what you are saying has some sort grounding in science.

Currently yes, ALMOST all life is cells. It was not always that way. Life evolves.

One exception are obelisks. They are RNA-based life forms that code for two other fragments - oblins - that then self assemble. As of yet they are not well understood.

Cells encapsulate the environment where the critters first developed, that being sea water. There are some nice videos online that show the most probable course of the development of the cell. PBS would be the go-to for me. Don't remember if Morgan Freeman's "Life" series starts at that level.

"Proof" is pretty difficult to come by in the real world, as Jan pointed out.

Would have been better to ask for compelling evidence instead, but what's done is done.

I have no problem asking for proof. Waffling is tedious and a clear signal that there's no good argument coming from the other side. My hillbilly cousins say "I know God loves me!" but can't tell what "god" means without resorting to JW sophistry or Bene Gesserit mysticism.

That's unfortunate because it sort of dismisses much of science.

If you asked me to "prove" Darwinian's theory of evolution by natural selection, I could not do it. No one can.

That is not waffling: that is an impossible ask. That's not the answerer's failing; that's the asker's failing.

Anyway, I've dismissed no science that is demonstrable or shows progression in understanding, clarification, and delineation. I do properly dismiss fairies, goblins, god, angels and devils.
