UFOs (UAPs): Explanations?

James R why did you initiate , by e-mail , for at least 10months , for me to come back .
He didn't. We've been over this. << (click this link to read the conversation you had recently about mailbots)

It's kind of telling that you've forgotten already.

This site is mainstream thinking to the of being point of science being authoritarian based . That is not good for science .
If by "mainstream" and "authoritarian" you mean "we retain in all areas of debate an ethos of respect for the scientific method, which demands critical analysis, clear thinking and evidence-based argument." then sure.

That is, after all, the ethos you agreed to when you signed up.

I have yet to see you actually defend any of the wild things you've claimed. You just shout them out, over and over.

River: "2+2=5!"
Everyone else: "Actually, it equals 4, and here is the proof."
River: "No! 2+2=5!"
Everyone else: "Defend your claim."
River: "2+2=5!"

This is not how intelligent discussion works.

It is really such a bummer, all these smarty-pants science people constantly nagging at you to back your claims with evidence and facts and logically sound arguments. I'm impressed that you stoically endure all this buzzkill and keep sharing your profound intuitions with us anyway.

If by "mainstream" aad "authoritarian" you mean "demands rational, evidence-based thinking" then sure.

defend your claim that gravity is at the center of mass .
And that all planetary bodies are moving towards the Suns center of mass . They are not .

Thanks .

I did not initiate that. See the detailed explanation I gave you last time you asked the same question. Have you forgotten? Or are you just trying to make busy work for me, like a troll?
This site is mainstream thinking to the of being point of science being authoritarian based . That is not good for science .
So vote with your feet. Why are you still here? Support sites that aren't "mainstream" or "authoritarian based" instead.

You came to us. We didn't come to you.
defend your claim that gravity is at the center of mass .
Point 1 here is that nobody seems to have made that claim in this thread. In fact, it's entirely off-topic for this thread.

Point 2 is that you haven't been clear what you mean when you say "gravity is at the center of mass", so it's difficult to work out whether that's a point worth defending.

Point 3 is that if we can assume that you're referring to Newtonian gravity, then I honestly don't think you know enough maths to understand the proof, if I were to give it to you. Nor do I believe you're genuinely interested.

This is what happens when you don't post in good faith, river. People don't want to waste their time on you, after a while, because they learn that there is never any worthwhile payoff from doing that. It's not like you ever thank anybody for their help, or take on board what they teach you, after all.

And that all planetary bodies are moving towards the Suns center of mass . They are not .
You are correct that they are not, on average. That's what orbits are about. Planets go around the Sun, without falling into it.

Now, please post on the topic of the thread. If you don't want to discuss the topic, start a different thread or don't post.
