"And how should we behave during this Apocalypse? We should be unusually kind to one another, certainly. But we should also stop being so serious. Jokes help a lot. And get a dog, if you don’t already have one."

I am constantly amazed at the coincidences and serendipities of daily life. It's as if there is a deep underlying craving all around us for astounding things to happen. Things that appear accidental but turn out to be meant to be afterall. We are all witnesses to the miraculous emergence of magic and profundity from mundane ordinary living.

“Night poured over the desert. It came suddenly, in purple. In the clear air, the stars drilled down out of the sky, reminding any thoughtful watcher that it is in the deserts and high places that religions are generated. When men see nothing but bottomless infinity over their heads they have always had a driving and desperate urge to find someone to put in the way.”
― Terry Pratchett , Jingo
