What helps me fall asleep is limiting oxygen supply...basically I put a blanket over my face...and since I get less oxygen...I fall asleep...the trick is to turn sideways when you fall asleep, while sleeping.

I still think you're missing out from ''going out there.'' You don't need to sleep with anyone... Just mingle... And then see where it all leads... And if your really disturbed by the idea of STD's, then ask the other person to get a test, then see the results after so many weeks time. There's ways' around your little incongruity you know.

For people with low self-esteem, it can make them feel as if they will never amount to anything as far as the opposite gender is concerned.

 

Do you do it because you get aroused, do you arouse yourself just so you can do it? There are those that try to make the experience as pleasurable and enjoyable as possible (e.g. play around with stuff - don't ask me), maybe make it feel like the real thing, and then those that just get the sparks going and race to an orgasm, its like a high for them, just like a drug addiction in my opinion.

I think every guy is horny everyday, but that doesn't mean they have to masturbate 3+ times a day.

Yeh, I’ve heard if you keep a bag over your head and masturbate you get a really, really good high/orgasm, something to do with oxygen being cut off - don't try that though.

Because I remember the days when I was young 4-9 and I was innocent and didn't have the need to do it. I could look up to God and he could see through me.

Well, talking about this from a totally psychological viewpoint, many things can make you depressed afterwards... Sorry if i sounded niave in replying ''why?'' - But it is something i hear very rarely of, but it might be much more common than usual.

I've studied that people who suffer these depressive outbursts after something like masturbation, it can usually be tied back to some prior cause. Take for instance God. God seems to be a perfect reason for us to feel ''bad'' after masturbation.

DeathFrom are you religious? I know Draqon is. We have had this discussion before. I don't know whether Draqon however tie this to any diety.

Likewise, my friend told me today, after me mentioning this guilt-trip and he told me that after ejaculation, he also felt a ''dirty'' sensation, (i wasn't expecting this reply) and that he needed to put the porn away as soon as possible...
It's a strange thing (from my point of view) why someone would get embarrassed, ashamed or depressed after such a thing. It is natural. If Dogs could do it, they'd be called wankers. Not hounds.

Well i was brought up in the catholic faith, but i drifted from that path a long time ago. I mentioned earlier, that personally i think that there is a link between masturbation and bad luck. Bad things always are not that far after masturbation. I know that might sound absurb, but i find it to be very true in my case. Maybe that's why i feel depressed after, because i know something bad is going happen.

Mmmm - inetersting. You see, masturbation is a thing you either do a lot... like every day, or it is something you do one or twice a week... I'm not embarrased to admit that i will do it every three days...

I bet that each time you do it, you are measuring the pros too close to the cons... what kind of bad things happen?

 

One time in summer, i caught the flu badly just 1 day before i was required to hand in my uni work. Who gets the flu in the middle of summer???? Another time i broke out in a painful rash, recieved a 'study termination' from uni(which turned out to be a mistake), a big hot piece of pizza crust got flicked and stuck in my eyes and ended up going to the ER.

Maybe i am wrong and its my nature to be unlucky, but i have noticed that alot of bad things happen to me after masturbation.
