Documentary thread

I can recommend several. Although I wouldn't watch it if you're a believer in the right of US supremacy..

Anything by John Pilger
Especially Stealing a nation, and the war on democracy..

Also, by other authors,
The Tank Man- Tiananmen Square rebel
The Falling man- 9/11 north tower jumper
Outfoxed, by Robert Greenwald
The Corporation
Generation Kill- A dramatisation of a book about the Iraq war

This is totally fascinating! Check out the OTT dresses. The documentary is by BBC Channel 4

My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16lMiMcZf4s

Highlights some interesting aspects of Gypsy culture, so if you don't know too much about the Romani then check it out. They should actually call the documentary 'my big fat TACKY wedding'

I vote for "Food, Inc" and "The Union".

The first provides a look into our food industry and is a must-see.

The second is an interesting take on hemp and marijuana. IMO, from an economic standpoint, certain policy changes make "cents".

King Corn. We and everything we eat are made of corn. Two city guys buy an acre of a corn field and watch it grow, get harvested, processed and consumed by Americans. You learn a lot in this one.

8 Must See Documentaries Vol 2

Let me translate the Zionist Corporate description of the documentary SAM didn't want to watch for you.
Islam: What the East Needs to Know
This documentary sets out to reinforce and propagate the notion that Islam is a “religion of violence” and widely circulate the idea that those few who commit violent acts in the name of Islam are representatives of the religion. The filmmakers try to hold Islam’s own sources to the light with the offensive claim that the religion is actually driven by a violent, expansionary ideology that seeks to conquer any contradictory religion, culture, and, ultimately, government.

This film is by far the most hair brained presentation of Islam that I have yet to see. I recommend viewers be hypnotized or drugged before attempting to watch it, as some amount of fantasy is required to reap the full benefits of this documentary.

Packed with cherry picked quotes from the Koran and other biased sources, along with inflammatory visuals and juvenile interviews, it will challenge even the experts. Is violence built into any unthinking fundamental ideology?

I can usually tell if a documentary is worth watching right off if Netflix carries it or not. If the corporatocracy doesn't carry it I automatically want to see it. They still don't carry Zeitgeist One or Two. Number Three is set to be released in Janurary or Feburary, and I'd be surprised if it wasn't the most viewed net documentary of all time.

Here are some good ones ...

The Corporation

Try searching for it on Netflix
Since the late 18th century American legal decision that the business corporation organizational model is legally a person, it has become a dominant economic, political and social force around the globe. This film takes an in-depth psychological examination of the organization model through various case studies. What the study illustrates is that in the its behaviour, this type of "person" typically acts like a dangerously destructive psychopath without conscience. Furthermore, we see the profound threat this psychopath has for our world and our future, but also how the people with courage, intelligence and determination can do to stop it.

The World According to Monsanto

There’s nothing they are leaving untouched: the mustard, the okra, the bringe oil, the rice, the cauliflower. Once they have established the norm: that seed can be owned as their property, royalties can be collected. We will depend on them for every seed we grow of every crop we grow. If they control seed, they control food, they know it – it’s strategic.

We Are Legion: The Story of the Hacktivists 2012

This is a A documentary on the workings and beliefs of the self-described "hacktivist" collective, Anonymous.

"Anonymous has been associated with attacks or “raids” on hundreds of targets. Angered by issues as diverse as copyright abuse and police brutality, they’ve taken on child pornographers, the Bay Area Rapid Transit system and even forced a standoff with Mexican drug cartels. They’ve hit corporate targets like Sony, cyber-security firms like HBGary Federal and would-be web controllers like the Church of Scientology.

They shut down Mastercard, Visa and Paypal after those groups froze financial transactions to Wikileaks. Along with other hacktivist groups like Telecomix, they’ve launched cyber attacks against foreign governments in support of the Arab Spring. They served as tech support for the Occupy movement and have put their mark on countless uprisings around the world. One participant described their protests as “ultra coordinated motherfuckery.”

These are not appealing documentaries. I post them because of sexist things that have recently been posted about woman and girls that are political rather than have any psychology.

A girl that was raped

A girl that was tied to a bed, forced to wear a diaper and with didn't learn to speak for lack of human interaction.

And yes, I'm a B.F. Skinner fan.
