which clearly shows only one missile hit and possibly the lower area is not a hit at all....
Note the distinct difference between areas. So it begs the question , if they got this one wrong how many others are mistaken...
You would need close ups of all areas claimed to be hit to verify it for your self...
Note the very dark almost black bits are shadows on extreme contrast...

That's not the extent of the damage to the base. That's a blown up section of a larger picture showing similar damage to 4 other parts of the base. It does appear that they intended to limit human casualties and just to send a message by destroying equipment.

2. act: The Iraqi parliament decides that the US has to leave the country. The Premier gives there a nice speech, explaining to the public how US diplomacy works: "Give us 50% of your oil income" "No, the Chinese have given us better conditions" "Stop this or we start demonstrations against you" "No" "Ok, then our snipers will kill as protesters as police, it worked nicely in Ukraine" "No, and I will tell the people about this" "Then I will kill you".
3. act: The US looks totally confused. "To run away or not to run away, that is the question".
4. act: Iran promises revenge. Trump answers that if Iran attacks some US forces, he will bomb Iran in a very harsh way, 52 or so targets, including some culturally very important things.
5. act: Iran simply attacks two US bases, with live pictures of Khamenei from the command center. And tells the US that if they attack Iranian soil, there will be a much stronger next attack.
6. act: Trump asks his generals to start the attack against the 52 Iranian sites, the generals explain to him that in this case there would be many many dead US soldiers. And explain to him it is much better to let those 50 soldiers die somewhere else in car accidents or so and not to retaliate at all. Trump submits, and declares that the US will accept that slap in the face. The generals stand behind him to check that he really says what they have told him.

It wasn't 50 US soldiers who secretly died, it was actually 3000, 10x as many deaths as Russian cavemen suffered when they tried attacking the US in Syria. They won't be accounted for as car crash victims, rather it will be said they were taking a luxury cruise on the way home and the ship sank because it was built in Russia. BTW if the lack of US casualties with "singed hair and melted skin" isn't doing it for you, I highly recommend laying off the vodka and trying Viagra instead.

i dont understand the logic unless it is to prevent people leaving with deadly force.
i think all airlines and aviation authority's are right to immediately list Iran as a no fly zone.
i wonder how many layers of checks and balances and authority they have to ensure and control such things are being used.
i get the distinct feeling the Iranian people will simply shug this off and say "oh well people make mistakes" and not force the government to review and take proper control of such terrible weapons.

It's not too much of a stretch to consider that the military and the civilian command structures may not have been talking to each other too well.
When a nation such as Iran decides to poke the USA with a stick in retaliation for Trumps impromptu decision to take out a general that all of Iran's military infrastructure would have gone onto the equivalent of "red alert". Bringing auto defense systems into play with out taking the necessary steps to inform the civilian airport authorities that no fly zones existed.
Heightened paranoia leads to all sorts of mistakes....
I can not see any strategic purpose for any faction deliberately shooting down a commercial jet and like the shooting down of the Com. Jet in Ukraine most likely a tragic accident of military misadventure ( incompetence)
I imagine there are thousands of posts on Russian forums popping up right now blaming the Mossad for hacking Iran's air defenses and bringing this plane down, as happens every time Russian equipment malfunctions or is misused. Over the last week Iran has killed more of its own citizens than the US has killed in the last decade, what a bunch of geniuses.

About the Russian reaction: Immediately after the news about the plane crash appeared in a military forum, the reaction was that it will be claimed that the Iranian air defenses have shot it:
"Iraq has nothing to do with it - the Americans will now roll out how Iranian air defense forces shot down a passenger plane."
And they expected all the usual things - the "evidence" for the sheeple with internet access being provided by Bellingcat, and the media using "intelligence sources", which of course have to remain hidden, as proofs. The Western propaganda machine is so predictable today ...

So, let's hope that the propaganda simply misuses here a technical incident for anti-Iranian propaganda, instead of organizing this incident themselves.

There are way too many independent sources including Iranian video verifying that two missiles were involved. Do they count for anything in your desire to claim fake intel?
