Yes, and I can't help you other than to say that fractals are abundantly observable in nature. For the physics, read Professor Renate Loll and her colleagues. This is cutting edge stuff, because it addresses the mathematical *dynamical causality* of spacetime itself and is not in conflict with either QM or GR.
