So, I came across this intriguing branch of anime/manga on my internet travels today and thought I'd share and discuss it with you lot.

I've got to warn you now - you will potentially find images of a sexual nature/naked drawn women in the links I post, so I'll say it's NSFW. I'll maintain that I have no sexual interest in these pics. I find the Japanese an intriguing bunch and the vast number of things that turn people on pretty interesting.

I'm not too keen on these from an art point of view. Some are very impressive, but I don't like gory art. I'm thinking of my dream home and putting pictures on the wall.

The ones that I find most pleasing, personally are the ones where the people look pained and are being taken advantage of by full sized humans. Where they're a Toy. This is one of the different branches of Koonago, apparently.

So far on my travels, I've stumbled across:

Mostly the women are naked or the situation is sexual. I haven't seen any shrunken men yet, but I guess it's out there.

If you're curious more or less on how or why someone would like SW, I can give you my point of view.
One if you're into bondage or Slave and Master type stuff, than this is something that might be thrilling for certain people. You basically have a woman who can't defend herself because she is so much smaller than you she cannot defend herself and basically becomes your sex toy (to put it in a nice way). On the nicer side, some fantasies include mutual sexual acts on both parties. To Redarmy, I do claim to be a woman who likes SW, but I'm not a weirdo who parades around thinking they're something they're not. I'm 5'4, thats my height. I would like to thank you for being understanding Redarmy. Its really important to me when I can tell someone a secret I used to be ashamed of and they can accept it. So far the few people I have told in RL have accepted it and support me (this being my boyfriend, who appreciate greatly, and my cousin who is a fetish queen herself lol). To Xev, I'm surprised an intellectual like yourself would take anything from wikipedia to heart. Most people that I talk with on the subject are rather gentle with an SW and never hurt her. If you want to get violent, then visit the VSW board as I posted above. The most popular SW board is minimizers (link also above) which condemns any such act of killing or mutilating any SW in art, story or any media. Breaking these rules can lead to posts being deleted or banned from the site. There is a reason why there is a whopping 2,100+ members to minimizers forum, and about 800 on the VSW board in comparison. Minimizers also receives a much higher volume of daily posts, compared to VSW which is rarely the showcase of new topics, art, and stories.
In truth, you would be surprised how many people on Minimizers bring up purely wholesome topics. Many of our members are just happy spending time with a giant companion to protect them, give them attention or take care of them. A good number of members don't even like to bring up sexual topics at all! I personally do, but like I said, thats my own personal preference. Some girls like the attention, some guys like to give the attention or just protect something tiny and cute. I'm in it for that, as well as the darker side. It's hard to explain why I would defend SW when it's something I hate. It's a love hate relationship. Think of sex for a devote Christian. You know that sex is a sin (if not used for reproduction), but you love the feeling so much. You want to let yourself be happy over sex, but you feel guilty because you like it.
This is the same scenario for SW. I like it, because to me it's natural to like it. It's burned into my brain, as I had stated before, I need it to orgasm (as does anyone with a fetish need to act/think about their fetish to orgasm). On the other hand, I hate it because it allows me to not have a normal sex life. Do I regret liking SW? Partially yes. I wouldn't mind just 'liking' SW, but having it as a fetish can really hurt a relationship, especially when you're partner is not understanding of your fetish.

Why do you hate it, then?

I mean, I have friends who are into bondage or S&M, yet we've hooked up and had perfectly wholesome sex....or not, but we can certainly adapt to different situations. And jesus, you're defensive. People are mostly useless: why give your sense of self-esteem over to them?

Anyways, this still gives a weird subtext to some animes that previously seemed safe. Just don't screw with fullmetal alchemist, ok?
 
I hate it because it over powers my sexual desires. It's not like I go in to having sex thinking "Hey let me dress up like a nurse today", "Hey lets try the strap on", "Let me tie you up", etc. Yes I might do those things, but behind every orgasm creeps my fetish. I would just like one day to have fun with my boyfriend and not worry about SW. You shouldn't worry about my self esteem, I don't let problems bother me.
