You mean if the Teliban would be allowed to operate as they do in Afghanistan , beating, torturing and basically forcing everyone there to submit to their terrorist ways. To eliminate education, to behead women who do not comply with their views to take children away from their parents if their parents don't do as they are told?

The situation was reversed for a lot of years, we have been on the receiving end, remember, the Marine Barracks in Lebanon, Kobar Towers, the Embassies in Africa, WTC 9/11, and a hundred other attacks that The Islamic Terrorist have executed.

You don't see, what the Pakistan Government see's, it will do what is in the best interest of their Government, and guess what, destroying the Taliban and Al Queda is in the best interest of the Pakistani Government, as they wish to stay in power, and move to a fully secular government.

When you ask how would the US feel if it were bombed, that evokes images of 1000lb bombs dropping on neighborhoods, killing hundreds. The predator missiles are comparatively small, and cause few collateral damages. They seem extremely effective, and the only alternative is giving up the fight.

Or conceding that throwing bombs and missiles at people is not conducive to national security. But, its American money to throw and if they want to throw it on the Afganis in rebuilding infrastructure they destroy, no one can stop them. Pakistan just got, what, 800 million dollars?

2. Pakistan is a sovereign nation. Whatever the pretext, the US should not be sending missiles into Pakistani territory. This "war against terror" is a farcical excuse for violation of borders.

 

Why not? They have been very effective so far. They aren't bombing infrastructure.
