DOnt ever think of loosing weight with reduction in food intake.

Eat the right things. Walk Walk Walk Walk. Start with 10 minutes and go for an hour in couple of months, after that increase your speed as much as possible slowly and steadily day after day.

Remember, U cant loose weight by walking, but U can loose wieght only with regular walking every day. If you r young then walk morning and evening.

I think that 50 in 2 months is asking for trouble. Big trouble. How about 20 in 2 months? Or even better, just 10. Then another 10/20 over the next 2 months, etc. Don't set yourself up for failure. I guess the real question is, how do you feel about it? Have you ever tried to lose weight?

You could probably lose twenty or thirty pounds with Atkins. But it's a lot easier to lose it than to keep it off.

    It's possible.

heh, bad infuences would say "smoke alot of ice"

But get a good diet. Don't drink soda's, or coffee.

This workout is also very decent for losing weight

    -10 Super sets

    1) Pushups 10
    2) Crunches 10
    3) Wide pushups 10
    4) Reverse Crunches 10
    5) Triceps pushups 10
    6) Left/Right crunches 10/10

Super sets mean do it all 10 times non stop.

yes you can, and no you cant,

it all depends on your attitude towards it, i cant directly be your PT from remote distance you need real hands on work, but 50 lbs in 2 months isnt that hard, i have got clients to lose alot more within that amount of time,

what you have to do is this, dont make it a little fad for yourself, "just do it for 2 months and then your finished", you have to be consistant after aswell or it will be pointless. make sure you stick to your routine/schedual,

plenty of cardio, stetches and light weights, drills and circuit training defined to our exact requirements are a good way to go, your diet is important, but you dont have to stop eating, still have a good breakfast and dinner, but dont eat lots of junk and snack alot, drink atleast 8 glasses of water per day, usually more if your working out hard, keey hydrated,

    good luck.

    peace.

what he is saying is, muscle weighs more than fat, if you were to say replace all the fat into the same amount of muscle, it would wiegh even more,

you said you wanted to lose 50 lbs, if you were to body build you would increase your weight not decrease it,

    peace.

yeah but watch what type of workouts you use,

dont lift to heavy, "bodybuild/powerlift/etc" or you will put on more than you lose, you want to just concerntrate on light workouts with weights, high reps low weight lots of sets. keep it consistant, alot of jogging and running, sit ups push ups/press ups, crunches, razors, lots and lots of stretching before and after, you should be fine, if you enjoy working out then this wont be hard atall, dont over do t though, give spaces in between the dys where you push yourself to your limit, rest is as needed as much as the excersize itself.

    peace.

In addition to solid regular exercise, you can try D'Addamo's Eat Right for your Blood Type diet. I lost 10% of my weight in 3 months doing that. I'm blood group O.

Well, I guess you could look at that way. But I think he is trying to lose fat. So anyways, what's wrong with gaining muscle mass? Nothing I can see. Anyways if you look into this workout, it does very little for gaining muscle mass. It's very good, since there is no weight lifting involved. But I suppose you can take it anyway you look at it. I've used this workout for boxing to lose muscle mass for fights.

Now if you wanted to gained alot of muscle mass. Do this one.

    Set #1) 100 crunches
    25-40 pushups (regular)
    Set #2) 50 regular crunches
    50 reverse crunches
    25-40 pushups

    Set #3) 50 Left crunches
    50 Right crunches
    25-40 pushups

Set #4) 100 L/R Crunches with bicycle of legs
    25-40 pushups

Set #5) 50 Double (Reg/Reverse mixed) at same time
    25-40 pushups

Set #6) 100 Flutterkicks (or regular crunches for those with back problems)
    25-40 pushups

Set #7) 100 Leg levers (or 50 left crunches / 50 right crunches - back problems)
    25-40 pushups

Set #8) 100 morning darlings (scissors) (or 50 reg / 50 rev at same time)
    25-40 pushups

Set #9) 100 situps in 2-3 minutes (or 50 left / 50 right crunches with bicylce of legs)
    25-40 pushups

Set #10) 100 abs of your choice
    25-40 pushups

This is a slightly more advanced workout. I suggest doing the first one for about 3 weeks. Then going onto this one.

i think the most important thing is to eat good stuff like fruits and vegetables, high fiber cereal, a vitamin and give your body what it needs. no cake or junk food. go slow and let your stomach shrink to where it needs to be. of course exercise. proteins and vitamins such as K (asparagus) http://www.anyvitamins.com/vitamin-k-info.htm (just found this link so ...???)- can be hard to come by- so be sure to include variety.

as far as drinking you only really need OJ\juice (natural sugars) and alot of water, dont rush it and see a good doctor\nutritionist (im not one). think long term. good luck.

    you could do it

ALSO- once you stop the junk food and soda after awhile you really wont like it too much anyway.

You can't loose fat and gain muscle. It simple does not work that way. Building muscle requires HUGE intake of calories.

If I were you, I would switch to a completely plant based macrobiotic diet, do yoga every single day, and weight train (free weights.) 50lbs, though possible to loose in a two month span is unhealthy. You will end up regretting is as most of the mass lost will be muscle, and in the wrong places.

If you somehow got a split personality disease for 2 months, then maybe. xD

Okay, okay, that was rash, sorry. Well, I won't bet, but it will be hard if you're already accustomized to a diet... but by that I don't mean the food, I mean the eating habit. Take me: Can't seem to stop taking bites every now and then, and shedding off weight now becomes a sky-dropping feat.
