You lost

"Definitely so, no question, no debate, no rebuttal, you are indeed."

Okay. You say so.

"Sure, maybe not today or tomorrow, but soon, you'll have little choice but to care when this administration screws you over. And, they will. Give it time."

Wouldn't be the first time.

"Of course, being a Republican,"

Actually, I've been a registered, unaffiliated Independent for some 30 years.

Too many boxes for you to check off in your analyses?

"...it's unlikely you'd ever admit to anything and would probably play the victim card, like they all do. No morals, no ethics, all scumbags."

Haven't been a Democrat since I voted for Carter.

Hmm, I've not paid much attention to this thread for some time. I've some reading to do.

The interest level is interesting.

exchemist:"...continue to argue the case, in order to achieve a different result, next time there is an opportunity to vote."

The very definition of Trump 2.0

The system sometimes actually works.

James R.: "There does seem to have been a point in time where something broke for Mr. G."

Observer bias.

James R.: J6...hahahahaha. The sky is falling!

James R.: "Me:My take: You seem unable to beat my ass without an army of retards to back you up."

I am so laughing. I actually said that?

Hey, all you folks are free to beat up on me as long as I'm able to occasionally get away with saying such stuff.

Sport is about sport.

Gotta go. No more time for here at the present. Sorry.

Mr. G:

"I see you've been busy piddling over all the active threads. Is this a cry for help, or just a cry for attention?

It looks like you've worked yourself up to the point where you have decided to make the customary Grand Trampling Exit from sciforums.

Is this your idea of going out with a bang?

James R. "Since this current thread is your thread, and because it says so much about who you are these days, I'm not going to do any cleaning on this one. It's good that our readers get to see exactly who you are, I think. Don't you agree?"
I say what I say. Don't need permission. Mute me, but that's all you.

I'm elsewhere, saying much the same thing. I can, I do, don't need you folks to speak for me. Inbreeders inbreed.

Let's see what's comprehensible in your latest posts...

It's all a bit puerile, don't you think, Mr. G? Why didn't you outgrow this sort of behaviour? Are you regressing in your old age, perhaps? If so, I applaud your decision to quit, before you can't tell that you're losing your shit.

Nobody likes antisocial grandstanders, Mr. G.

Do you feel like you've found your people by lining up as a MAGA shill? If so, then good luck to you. The buyer's remorse will come later. Meanwhile, y'all have fun finding people to insult. You'll end up a bitter old man who substitutes mutual grounching with similarly bitter old men for actual enjoyment, if you're not already there. It's all a bit hollow, don't you think?

Surely, that's not what you're thinking. And what happened to the Grand Trampling Exit? Don't you think you should at least try for some consistency?

Why must I conform to your version of conversational reality.

Afraid to adapt to new realities?

Oh, my. Something new. EEK!!!!

I could spend more time in forums that reflect my own opinions.

What would I learn there?

What I learn here is that there isn't much to learn.

You folks operate like a teacher's union.

Yo, man. We're for the children!!!

Explore like you've schooled the kids.

Conversationally demonstrate you''ve the same kinds of skill-sets you've gifted our kids.

Prove your worth, or just go home,

We're such the strongest b/tches on the planet.

You will submit; or Hitler, or something.

Hilarity ensues.

Hitlarity!

Gonna use that again.

So apparently they are theatrically releasing a 4k restoration of Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii. Not sure which edit though. Thoughts? Feelings? Plenty of Roger Waters stomping and scowling and... smiling? (And raving and drooling.)
One of my favourite pieces of live music filming. "Echos" is just magic.
Beatles on the roof has to be number one.

Mr. G:
I say what I say. Don't need permission.
You do need permission, actually.
Mute me, but that's all you.
Stating the bleeding obvious.
I'm elsewhere, saying much the same thing.
I'm sure you are. Good luck to you, I guess. Reality will probably kick in, sooner or later. Enjoy yourself while you're off with the fairies, I say!
I can, I do,
Can you? Do you?
don't need you folks to speak for me.
I don't think I could if I tried. You're on a whole different wavelength.

Non sequitur, or another attempted insult that fell flat because you have difficulty expressing yourself clearly?
Why must I conform to your version of conversational reality
It's what you signed up for. Maybe you've forgotten?
Afraid to adapt to new realities?
Don't worry about us. We'll adapt. You'll have to as well, after your bubble bursts.
I could spend more time in forums that reflect my own opinions.
Really? Which forums would those be? I'm fascinated to learn.
What I learn here is that there isn't much to learn.
You haven't really been paying attention, though, have you?
You folks operate like a teacher's union.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
We're such the strongest b/tches on the planet.
When did you become a "we", Mr. G?

What is it that you think makes you a strong bitch? You've found somebody you imagine is strong and you feel like that reflects on you, somehow?

Or are you attempting parody (poorly)?

Self parody?

I could spend more time in forums that reflect my own opinions.

What I learn here is that there isn't much to learn.
Trump supporters aren't into learning, that's not a thing they do. It's too woke. Better to shut down the department of education and stick learning up on the shelf. Trump loves the uneducated. Trump loves you and your "opinions".

Trump supporters aren't into learning, that's not a thing they do. It's too woke.
And the more you learn, the more likely you are to become liberal. And that would cause painful cognitive dissonance to Trump supporters.

You folks operate like a teacher's union.

Yo, man. We're for the children!!!

Are you sure you were a teacher once? Teachers unions say very little about children, they look after teachers economic and contractual benefits, job protection, professional development, legal and dispute support, advocacy and policy influence, work life balance and additional perks and to be a collective voice and community.

Looks like it's you who needs to be schooled.

Today's reality is one where a political party has become a cult of personality bent on revenge and retribution with a cult leader who would send you to a Salvadorian prison for spray painting a car but would pardon you for causing the death of a policeman.

Is that that "new realities" you refer that we are to adapt?

I love performances in big, wide open spaces with very little or no audience at all. This isn't really complaint, but I've always wanted to see the rooftop performance with no other people standing on the adjacent rooftops. Lots of decent videos out there with people performing in the Mojave Desert and similar locales.

The Rutles rooftop performance is also great--especially when Ron Nasty kicks the guy over the ledge:

Brilliant film. Love Python, part of my DNA

Mr. G:

I'm here. I've already had permission to be here.

I also need this place's permission to say what I want to say?

Nice place you've engineered for yourselves.

Got it.

Know fear.

I(s that that "new realities" you refer that we are to adapt?
Know fear.

So, yes.

You folks aren't the most formidable opponents on the planet.

You think you are.

You only really appreciate how good this is if you are a true Beatles nut.
Even Eric Idles movements are like Paul's. Not sure if he is really left handed.
