The religious have learnt nothing over the centuries. .
Apparently neither have you.:bugeye:

... atheism has no dogma...
You have got to be kidding me!
Atheists can be as zealous and dogmatic as any Fundy. Many are not. It's not the belief system - theism or atheism - that has dogma of zealotry, rather it's the individuals who hold the belief.

... atheists have verifiable evidence...
Unless is is a verifiable lack of evidence, or some treasured position is found wrong by new evidence.

Hello? Why are christians so f*cking stupid? Don't they realize they are the idiots of the universe? What makes them believe the lies they believe? I have friends who are christians, and I just don't understand their logic! Why in the world could anyone be a christian! That is so foreign to me! How could anyone believe in that crap?

not true,i know christians who are smarter than you (they have bigger boobies too)

MW is our resident anti-Christian. She hates Christianity and I can understand her position because it really messed her up at some point in her life (she appears to be quite angry at her indoctrinators).

Most organic atheists I have come across don't harbor any ill will towards religion; however, some of those atheists whom were raised as theists are understandibly angry.

Yeah she is really a hardcore Bible basher, just comming here to test peoples faith.

People like medicine woman somehow actualy make me believe in god more and more, I can't explain why.

peace.

I can explain that. When you have a position that is between two poles, militant feedback is going to push your position towards the opposite pole that the militant is on. It's a normal human behavior.

What about the inorganic atheists? They chew on the walls?

Hahahah! An "organic atheist" is a non-believer whom was never coerced into belief or non-belief. MW and I are both non-organic atheists (or inorganic as you like to call them ;)).

Oh,

I have never really thought about it properly to be honest. But it's true I hate preachers cramming the bible down my throat and getting really passionate about trying to convert me, it mkes me think "take your bible and ram it up your holy asshole" same as when militant Atheist start preaching hate about beleiving in god, it makes me think yeah it seems like the devil is working with them trying to destroy religion.

When mild believers talk or mild atheists talk it makes me want to listen and take them seriously.

Interesting natural rebelious attitude.

peace.

I get this one! I was baptized Episcopalian at birth. Then later, had Catholicism shoved down my throat. I have a word for it 'catechized'* a reference to catechism. They fed me a lot of hogwash and fear. Told me, among other things, that every time someone used profanity, Jesus' heart bled. Well tho I was only a 2nd or 3rd grader, I knew how much people used profanity and pictured gallons upon gallons per second. I was appalled at the image. That was pretty much the point I said Bullshit, I'm done. But since I was just a little I was unable to enforce or even voice my position

I have a song that starts:
I ain't looking for forgiveness, I just need me some slack;
At birth they gave my soul to Jesus, Now I want it back!

*Well what do you know? The word was in my spell check. And here I thought I'd made it up.

It sounds like you came out ok despite the bleeding-heart-o-jesus-catechization. Not everyone is as fortunate. Some come out very angry (MW being a good example). Others have their lives demolished and come out very unhappy (there was an ex. YouTube blogger who was kicked out to the street by his family when he was honest and told them he was a Muslim). And then there are some who live in fear of torture and death if they were to assert their religious / non-religious identity.

Lol, gimme back my damn soul!
