What's your avorite scary movie characters... why..&

For me i've always enjoyed a nice mind-twisting horror movie. Shutter Island, Let Me In. Paranormal Activities 1-3 the kind of cinema that lives you wide-eyed, pale and mute atfer leaving the theater.

What do you think about the George Romero movies?...

I can watch any of them, anytime.

Love his work, loved all this films although the original title for "Night of the Living Dead" was susposed to be " Night of the Fleash Eaters" i'm glad he changed the title in hindsight. The entire production team and budget was 10 guys and around 500 dollars. still it's a cult classic.

I love all of his work...The Crazies was kinda bizarre too.

But far and away, Dawn Of The Dead, was just a masterpiece.:worship:

The re-make kinda sucked...You just can't improve on perfection.

I watched a horror show. Marathon. I had to stop after 6 hours worth. I was so freaked out with any little sound.

Come on bucko...dontcha wanna balloon?

Ya know...I watched SAW1, in the theatre back in late '04.

I thought it was the worst movie I have ever had the misfortune to see..

But, I now own every movie in the series...Guess it grew on me...Like a fungus.

I just know you like it when people get what they deserve for being real assholes in real life.:D

Which verson of Dawn of the Dead do you prefer? 1978 or 2004 remake?
Then there is the Crazies(that was made in early 1978 before DOD) and it's eventual remake in 2008. They accutally made a graphic motion comic series of the crazies in 2010. about 6-7 episodes on Netflix.

The original versions, of both...

I can't say I have EVER liked a re-make as much as the original...Of any film.

True. True. Good example " The Thing" two remakes. Oringinal(1950s) Second one(1984) Third one(2011) Saw all three...still prefer the Oringinal and Kurt Rusell is papable in the 84 remake.

Even "The Blob" was remade...

And let's be honest, it was a pretty hokie friggin' movie to begin with...

But, still prefer the original.

The Romero movies have ALL been redone, and sucked.

"Hills Have Eyes" remakes sucked.

Hell, "The Omen" was remade on a big budget...Still sucked too.

Never seen them
Referring to post 35
Except I own I AM Legend
OR some of the others.

Unfortunatlly you are right on all those points, it's a sad, sad statement about the movie industry. After i saw " I Am Legend" i wanted my money back plus tax and all the money i spent at the concesion stands.

I thought the remake of Godzilla was very good. At least Tokyo didn't get destroyed again.:D
