That is true. As for Tokyo always being attacked by giant monsters..i'm pretty sure that also contributes to Japan's high suicide rates.

Yeah! But Will Smith has made so many really good movies that I can forgive him one weak movie.

But seriously, I thought that movie totally sucked, as did the King Kong remake with Jack Black.
Were all only human. Even demi-god celebrities can make mistakes.
On that reason alone i can probably forgive Will, that movie was just too dark for him to act in.
Would you watch the 76 remake of King Kong over the 05. Or just stick with the classic 1933 version?

Well, the Fay Wray version is the best, of course...
But, I was just coming into puberty when Jessica Lange did the '76 remake, so I have a spot in my heart for that particular remake. She was hot.
All other remakes sucked, in my opinion.

The book and first Film were great but with any series too many sequals just kills it.
For me the books are always better. I found this out the hard way. I read Pet Semetary hated the film, however The Green Mile still brings tears to my eyes both book and film every time. Cujo was spot on and petrified me(i know there is pun in that) and the Shining...let's just say that i don't stay in cabins for too long.

I love originals....MOSTLY hate re-makes...
I explained why I liked the '76 version...But yeah, if some other actress played the part, probably would've hated that version too.
I can understand were you're coming from. Many a time i have found myself watcing low-grade horror flims for one reason, My little head is thinking more than my big one. It doesn't help that all the horror movies out there cast sexy young women for parts in those films for that target demographic.

Well, lets face it...Seems over the last 30 years or so, the modern day "Horror" film, isn't much more than soft core porno.
I.E. ALL the Friday The 13th movies.

One King movie. I loved was about a author who wrecks in winter. An has a terrible nurse. Can't think of the title.
An the other 2 titles I liked might be critters or munchers where they eat the past. An this plane went through a worm hole an the people struggle to get back to the present..
