Where does it say, in the bible, that the human race was comprised of two people?
Genesis 1: So God created man in His
own image; in the image of God He created
him; male and female He created
them.
1 Timothy 2: For Adam was formed first, then Eve
1 Corinthians 15: The first man Adam became a living soul
Why would anyone assume that the human race was, even for a moment, two people.
Once again you are confused between reality and what the Bible says.
In REALITY the human race was never composed of two people.
In THE BIBLE, initally there were only two people - Adam and Eve.
Where does it say in the bible, that the book of Genesis was written by more than one author?
?? It doesn't. The Council of Nicea (and many other religious councils) want you to think that it was written by a single infallible author, to better demand your obedience to it. You have to study it to realize it was written by two authors.
Why assume they are different accounts of the same thing, when there is absolutely no reason to?
Different styles. Different words for God. Different orders of things occurring, such that one contradicts the other.
Wrong again...
Gen 2:20 - And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but
for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
Gen 2:18 - And the LORD God said,
It is not good that the man should be alone;
I will make him an help meet for him.
Right. God created Eve to help Adam, then told her she'd be having babies.
Sorry mate, it says nothing about having babies. Eve was there to help Adam till the ground.
Genesis 3: "you shall bring forth children." Which makes sense, "because she was the mother of all living." Again, Genesis 3.
Let me know if you don't understand the connection between "bring forth children" and "have babies" or what a mother is.
She wasn’t told to bring forth children.
Genesis 3: "you shall bring forth children."
She certainly wasn’t the biological mother of all the animals brought to Adam to name, before she was created, and she certainly wasn’t the mother of the serpent that deceived and seduced her. So obviously “mother of all living” must have meant something different.
Right. It meant the mother of all living humans.
No it’s not. . . .You know I’m right, because everything I have stated pans out in the bible.
Tell you what. You keep making shit up, and I will keep posting the actual words of the Bible to prove they are lies. And we'll let readers decide.
