UFOs (UAPs): Explanations?

river:

Why did you ignore the questions I asked you? Please answer them.
maneuverability and speed and objects
That's a sentence fragment. What are you talking about?
... , large craft that are observed to go extremely slow speeds that should having them falling out of the sky .
Which "large craft"? Large craft in the sky? Do you mean aeroplanes? They go fast enough. They have wings.

Or balloons? They can go extremely slow - they can actually be stationary in the air. Why do you think they should fall out of the sky?

Or drones? (Are they "large craft"?) They can hover and not fall out of the sky.

What's the issue with "extremely slow speeds", exactly?

maneuverability and speed and objects , large craft that are observed to go extremely slow speeds that should having them falling out of the sky . They don't .
Dirigibles are very large and very slow, yet they do not fall out of the sky.

You are stuck in a lifting-body mentaility. You need to think outside the box.

And don't accelerate to fantastic speeds .
I suspect you are taking everything you read about UAPs at face-value. That would be exceedingly naive.

I strongly advise you review this thread from the beginning. It is a good primer in dismantling the more creative claims about. UAPs using critical thinking.

2nd that.

I would adivse you to do more research on UAP's . You don't seem very knowledgeable on the topic .

Its about time that you looked into the subject with more depth .

I have done a lot. When I have not done is believe every story anyone told about them.

You have to concede, you have historically demonstrated an abundance of naivete about a lot of subjects on this forum.

This kind of vacuous rhetoric is useless. Review this thread - which is over 10,000 posts long, to see just a sample of our efforts.

If you want to look at some specific evidence of UAPs that accelerate to fantastic speeds we are happy to entertain any account you want to present for analysis. Otherwise, you're just talking through your hat.

Be aware though, to-date there is zero confirmed evidence of any craft doing fantastic speeds in all the thousands of reports over the last 80 years or so - only misidentifications and guesses.

That may be enough for you ro believe in them, but it is not enough for most rational people.

Your not well informed on the topic it seems . Despite all these posts . Or you just ignore the evidence , which wouldn't surprise me . Going at fantastic speeds is common in reports . 5000mph to 50,000mph .

Even at 5000mph ÷60minutes = 83miles per/minute , ÷60seconds = 1.4 miles per second . That's fast . For me thats the blinke out effect . One moment its there the next its gone .

Again, vacuous rhetoric.

Let's discuss some of these reports of fantastic speeds. Have you ever examined them? Or did you just read about them in a book by a UFO believer?

How do you know there's any truth to them? Show us this evidence you speak of.

Pick one of your favorites.

I've done both book and video .
Witnesses . Both the common people and professionals . Airline Pilots and Military .

Don't have a favorite .

UAPs are unidentified. If somebody identifies them, then they become the planet Venus, or a weather balloon, or a commercial jet, or an alien spaceship.

If you have specific data that supports the hypothesis that some kind of "craft" travelled at "fantastic speeds" (better specify what speed counts as "fantastic", first), then by all means present it and we'll take a look. If you can confirm the existence of an alien spaceship with reference to good evidence, great!

But merely asserting that you think there are alien spaceships flying around, when there's really no convincing evidence that supports that, is largely a waste of time.
I would adivse you to do more research on UAP's . You don't seem very knowledgeable on the topic .
Says the guy who's popping into a thread containing a 10000+ post discussion of literally hundreds of UAP cases.

You think you've done more "research" than we have? Seriously?

Your not well informed on the topic it seems . Despite all these posts.
As usual, river, you're completely out of your depth and you don't seem to know who you're talking to. You are clearly not qualified to assess how well informed or badly informed DaveC is, on this particular topic. You seem quite clueless.
Or you just ignore the evidence , which wouldn't surprise me.
The 10000+ thread in which evidence from multiple cases has been carefully examined proves you wrong.

Read the thread. Inform yourself.

Ah yes. Reports. Are these reports credible?

How did the reporters measure the fantastic speeds, exactly? Please explain the methodologies used.

Specific examples of cases where fantastic speeds were actually measured (not just guesstimated) would be useful, if you know of any.

What have you got for us?

Yes, who can get stuff wrong. That is why even with todays technology, you can still have a scenario where a plane crashes into helicopter killing everyone on both aircraft.
