What's not funny anymore? Is it something that I posted that upset you, just curious, but not concerned

I posted to this thread because there was NO stipulations as to where the images were to be from. As you stated in the opening of this thread:

"Wouldn't it be cool if we had a little picture contest based on a theme?

Like draw the best picture according to a quote or phrase from popuilar literature, like
"Midway upon the journey of our life
I found myself within a forest dark,
For the straightforward pathway had been lost."

and then the best entry gets a month subscription here....?"

I don't see anything that states that the images cannot be of other peoples works. If you wanted only ORIGINAL works then you should have stated that in the opening of the thread. I'm sory that I can't read your mind as to your rules and regulations so that's why I posted the images I did. Next time could you please let us know the rules BEFORE we start posting, it would save you the embarrassment that you caused yourself now. Thanks.

doesnt it say you have to draw? Youre just beeing difficult.
 
So, what is the phrase this contest is going to be based on? This looks fun, is this contest a go? What are the rules? Mediums? Personally, I prefer original works only.

The judge is myself
The rules of judging are subjectively my own subject to no appeal or explaination or notification of the announced closing of this contest.

The award is to allow the picture seen by no fewer than 20,000 people and a possible cash award of no less than $20.

The rules for the artist is that there are no rules regarding submission of their own original work.

I did this one last year in Photoshop and Flash MX:

The title is "Metropolitan Fictional", I think it fits the proposed theme well enough.

I Dunno

if everyone has some sort of 3d rendering program, i would like a contest like that. as for my regual artwork, the best i could do is pictures b/c i dont have a scanner. heres one.

I know the models are in underwear, but i was working on human forms.... Anyway, critisizim is welcome. Please make it HELPFUL....
