Or anyone, in city driving at least. Fantastic if you want to have a few drinks at a party.self driving car
great idea for blind people?
They can certainly make an autonomous vehicle that is better than people at those things. It will never be perfect, though.Good idea for anyone. But I have my doubts they can make a totally autonomous vehicle that can navigate lane changes, parking lots and any other situations that are not "cut and dry, stay in my lane" scenarios.
Man is not perfect. They can certainly make an autonomous vehicle that is better than people at those things. It will never be perfect, though.
No. I mean, nothing is perfect, man-made or otherwise. The Sun will burn out. Orbits of planets decay. Satellites become tidally locked. Radioisotopes decay.Man is not perfect.
Does it not then follow that anything made by man must necessarily be imperfect ?

The above most story likely had a lot to do with the horse's desire to go back to the barn? When I moved to the bush that was my plan but I found out you need to be sober to control a horse and cart.
And perhaps it was not a good idea to plan how to maximise drunkenness.

but the owner is not the one who caused the journeyOwner. Just like now.
What does that have to do with it? A taxi driver who owns his cab didn't "cause the journey" - but he carries the insurance.but the owner is not the one who caused the journey
No, it would be the bus driver who hit the family and killed them.if the passenger had decided to take the buss the family away on holiday that were wiped out would be the fault of the passenger who chose to travel that day.
It has been that way for centuries.as this debate goes on and gets more technical
the value of the lifes lost becomes a mney game
By raising their rates of course.how are insurance companys going to react to losing 50% of their income stream ?

the buss is self driven and didnt crashNo, it would be the bus driver who hit the family and killed them.
If self driving cars could be programmed to deliver people to their location safer and more efficiently than a human can it may make a lot of sense to have them. Flying cars, if they come to be, may have to be self driving cars by design, considering flying is much harder than driving on a road.
