I feel that it means that you never really know anything about anything until you know all things and that if you stop at what is considered a natural life and/or natural behaviour, then you will never truly experience what nature is.

tl;dr

You need to be immortal to learn everything needed to truly understand the world.

This is a view I hold to be quite true.
