Orca vs Great white shark?

Cheeky.

{performs Myuunian dance of apology...without the chicken}

You can't fool me, GeoffP. I know perfectly well it means "may the fleas of a thousand mangy curs infest your armpits" without the chicken.

discovered, Geoff flees into the hinterlands and is never seen again

I give it to the orca.
this is like a fight of jaws vs moby dick.
moby dick is smarter and stronger.
he can either headbut jaws into submission or just tear him to shreds

I just saw this thread....I had a nightmare last night about a great white shark.
I woke up suddenly....my son got out just in time.

Unfortunately this is the weirdest part.......Lucifers Angel (sorry) didn't. She got ripped to shreads and eaten. IT WAS SO STRANGE!!

A few days ago I had a dream. Orleander was in it and she was in an airplane to Europe. The plane crashed in ocean and she was eaten by a whale. :p

I think that the orca would win in this scenario, and in a more realistic one (fully grown male orca (7-8m, 6-7Tn) and fully grown great white (5-6m, 2-3Tn) it would be easier.
The orca's pros are:
  • More intelligently
  • faster
  • stronger
  • sonar
  • bigger size
The shark's advantages:
  • more aggressive
  • better nose
  • electrical senses
Therefore the orca will win.
P.s.: There have been sights of a female orca killing a great white to protect her cubs

Orca vs Great White

Just one question...

Has there ever been any evidence or reports of any adult Orca having been killed by a great white?

I have read of dozens of eye witness reports where great whites were killed by Orcas, but never the other way round.

From the materials that I have gathered, it seems as if Orcas kill great whites on a regular basis, while great whites seem want to avoid Orcas even if they were just cutout boards.
