Would this be the appropriate place to share in the sense of superiority that comes from having read the books before the TV series was thought of?I remember mentioning this series in a thread years ago about fantasy novels people liked.
That it has now become an immensely popular tv series means a few things....
1. Y'all got the attention span of mayflies.
2. No one reads books anymore.
3. No one pays any attention to me.
4. I understand quality before anyone else does.
5. You weren't around back then.
Arghhh! We have Spoiler tags for a reason, you know.Spoiler alert! Some of the dead come back, like Sandor Clegane.
The Dog is back, as he's pissed off.
It is from my perspective, certainly. That post was tongue in cheek, though.Would this be the appropriate place to share in the sense of superiority that comes from having read the books before the TV series was thought of?
Meh. GoT TV series isn't bad either. Nor is the LOTR movies series. One of these days, somebody will get around to making a TV series or movie of Lord of the Rings. Just wait until those people who never read the books get a load of ... Oh wait. Ok. Forget I mentioned it.
