No one has ever made a tectonic plates a volcano a star or panda bear from scratch either. Shall we assume magic then? If we cannot make it in the lab?

Because we've only been at it for a few decades. We only just discovered DNA in the fifties. You're a bit quick to be deciding the mysteries of nature so soon.
And because we don't have technology that can build individual things on the molecular scale.
We have been creating and growing living tissue in a lab for decades now.

FWIW, magic is often defined more technically as change in accordance with individual will. As such, magic is based upon the power or ability of the practitioner. This contrasts with prayer, i.g. asking a god for blessings, boons, and miracles, because those things hinge on the deity's power rather than one's own. Now, there are some magical practices that meet in the middle-- asking a god to aid the practitioner in their working-- but the distinction still requires the practitioner to provide at least some of the energy and action into the work.
But that aside: while the poster you quoted above is technically correct that Christianity forbids magic, vesting all faith in the hands of their god, they are wrong in actuality. Christians have practised magic of varying kinds since pretty much the beginning. Folk magic has been popular across Europe, we have extensive record of its practice, and before the late 1400s it really was not persecuted by the Church, but was perhaps grudgingly tolerated. Theurgy and divination resumed popularity during the Renaissance, and the Occult revival of the 15th century took on a strongly Christian mystic overtone.

Why would we think we could do that when we cannot even reanimate a cell that has died, even though the dead cell has ever piece of matter in it that a same living cell next to it has? It would seem that it should be easier to fix something rather than to build a new one from scratch.
