Congratulations America - you got the president you deserve

This wasn't that long ago. Laws may change, but it takes generations for attitudes to change. I've worked with people within the last 20 years who still have Klan robes in their closet.
We're talking about the system, which is the laws.

What does it look like, then, to merely be right-wing? We actually already have an answer in history:

Like supporting extreme right wing 'leaders' as they commit genocide and turn their regions into veritable wastelands? I suppose it depends what things look like from inside the bubble compared with looking from the outside like the rest of the world and, of course, who gets the oil contracts.

Support for free-market capitalism, limited government intervention, and lower taxes. Right-wing economics usually promotes deregulation and privatization.
And, in your case at least, an extensive history of racism and, more recently, rape advocacy.

I would think managers and supervisors at the workplace would also count as the "system".
Seattle dictates the terms of every discussion. I'll respectfully (lol) wait for him to get back to you on this, but I suspect he'll say that doesn't "count".

Does a president elect who wants to put a Christian Nationalist in charge of the Pentagon count?

The problem would seem to be that you have trouble discerning between theism and religion.
Theism is the belief in one or more gods. Religion is a structured form of religious belief that is usually but not always theistic. Happy now?

She talks about "inequality of wealth", "unaffordable housing", "livable wages" and all of the progressive BS. He does not. Taxes should be low, spending should be lower, the President should focus on the economy and not on "stimulating" the economy by monetizing the debt.

I don't agree with his views on tariffs unless it is just some negotiating ploy. I think the stock market will be strong during a Trump administration. I'd rather have a John McCain or Ronald Reagan type of Republican but that wasn't the choice.

I didn't vote for him or for anyone but I live where the vote is going to go to the Democrat. I did have a small bet that Trump would lose. He isn't a "role model". Progressive polices, (as defined today) aren't going in the right direction economically IMO.
I must admit, you have at least a couple of good threads of material there to defend, especially your first statement. And, it does look a lot like you're making a better argument there for Harris then for Trump.

It depends. If his (Hegseth's?) goal is to "reduce spending", it doesn't count; otherwise, it's probably acceptable.

That's because you agree with her viewpoint. What's new?

Irrelevant. We are talking about the system, which is the laws.
It's no more irrelevant that just about every post you've made. Which laws are being broken? When they are broken, we prosecute. Where is the "systemic racism"? Don't you get tired of complaining and making excuses?

Let's face it, you don't like the system and aren't part of the system. Fine. If you'd care to, and most people in your position don't care to, let's hear your views on a better system.

Exactly. Corporations, social organizations (like the Klan) and religions are also a big part of the system.

And if anyone doubts this, consider how many government offices are closed on relgious holidays, and how much public discourse is throttled by the various social media organizations.

It's less about whether I'm happy, (Q), than what is accurate.

Playing around with crackpottey is part of how atheists empowered the religious right.

But now you have plenty of religious crackpots to yell at; you must be so happy.
I guess, technically, it's not possible to "overuse" a word but practically speaking, you are overusing "crackpot" and "crackpottery". Maybe it's time to bring back "Twitterpation"? To wit, to the one, a new word would be welcome, to the other maybe address some interesting issue rather than constantly demean the speaker, if that is, yaknow, possible?

What systemic improvements would you like to see?
