Atheist expects death to be oblivion.

So do theists. They just pray in the hope it isn't so, but alas it surely will be.
Every theist I knows has a reasonably firm belief that there is life after death, at least in some form or other, and that this life we experience on earth is not the be all and end all of our journey. Now, I don't share that belief, but it's a bit unnecessary to tell theists what they expect or believe, especially when it might go contrary to the tenets of their faith. I would (and do) call out theists who claim to know what atheists think and believe, and you seem guilty of the same here.

I agree, the post was really a gentle mocking of those theists who dare declare that atheists actually believe in God but that they just don't know it yet. See Jan's posts.

This is not the first time. Some time ago I was waiting at the airport and some holy roller shoved a pamphlet in my face with the words "here, you need this". The gall some of these people have is astounding.
