A Perfect World?

Yes, people suffer. How much more suffering is there to be had when we focus on suffering?
More, if you dwell on it. Less, if you work to reduce it. More, if you assume that it doesn't matter since God will give you bennies when you die.

More, if you dwell on it. Less, if you work to reduce it. More, if you assume that it doesn't matter since God will give you bennies when you die.
If faith in God reduced your suffering, would that be of value? If faith in God could erase your fear of suffering, would that be of value?

If faith in God reduced your suffering, would that be of value?
Again, depends. If your faith in God prevented you from going to a doctor, it would increase your suffering. If your faith in God let you face certain death more calmly, it would help if you were dying. If your faith in God convinced you to kill the infidels to ease your suffering, that would increase it again.

Again, depends. If your faith in God prevented you from going to a doctor, it would increase your suffering.
Depending on whether your doctor has a cure that isn't worse than the illness.
If your faith in God let you face certain death more calmly, it would help if you were dying.
And possibly if you are living?
If your faith in God convinced you to kill the infidels to ease your suffering, that would increase it again.
True, but if your victims had faith in God too, what harm could you really do?
