28 Weeks Later

There were a few faults in the film if you analyse it with critical thinking, however they aren't that important since after all it is a fictional film.

Potential spoilers in white!!!

1: The scene where the outbreak is first noticed, a Military unit would have on site and be instructed to enter biosuits used in protecting them from biological diseases no matter whether they are air born or not.

2: Herding all the civillians into one place was an obvious flaw in logic, suggestibly the numbers would be split and placed into bio-sealed mobile units to await an evac. Each group would be accompanied by a set number of soldiers designated to protect them from either harm or doing things they aren't suppose to do.

3: Obviously buildings were never designed to protect against viral attacks, therefore such self-contained biologically sealed container units would be deployed to quarantine more than just a few. In essense if they don't have enough suits to protect or personnel it would mean placing them into the units.

4: When running as a group it would of made sense for the ground troops to yell "Put your hands on your head, keep moving but keep your hands on your head" This would of identified the rage victims that were obviously too busy chomping on everyone to concern themselves with a protocol. Those with hands on the head wouldn't be targeted by snipers.

5: American soldiers are notorious for never leaving a man behind, Dead or Alive. So they would hardly turn fire on their own.

I'm sure there are many others people spotted.

Other than that it was a bit of fun, ad if you haven't seen it I suggest the following:
Buy some "Bloodshot eye" contact lenses and some bloodcapsules that can be bitten to create foaming blood. Make sure you are wearing a torn t-shirt with fake bloodstains on, with a long sleeves shirt covering it.

At the end of the film, insert the contact lenses and bite the capsules, Take the longsleeves shirt off and tie it around your middle to expose the torn bloody shirt, then run/walk in a kind of rampant manner (without damaging anything) from the cinema, through the foyer and out of the cinema.

Make sure you have someone with a camera to take your snapshots as you come past.

The more of you conducting this "28 weeks later - In 3D" effect, the better!

Don't forget to post the video on your favourite home video network.

It's a sci-fi thriller, not a medical documentary.

lol!
better yet: convince YOUR FRIENDS to do this, and point and laugh while they have their brains dashed by the first frightened moviegoer they come across!

weird...i didnt think it was scary.

want to see a scary movie? watch charlie sheen in "major league".
You didn't jump when they were at the old people's house at the start and they looked out the boarded windows when...
This was scary to me. I cared about the characters, it wasn't predictable and the jolting pace was electrifying. Everyone has had that bad dream of being relentlessly chased. 28 Weeks Later is true horror. Zombies freak me out. Working alone in a 60 year old building at night doesn't help.

Zombies freak me out.

:)
i shared a house with 5 other folks once, and the first thing we did was "zombie proof" it. our house was a fortress, with a weapon within arm's reach wherever you went or sat.

we took zombies very seriously. we even had plans drawn out about where to get food, the best routes to take, and how to get back into the house once we left.
heh. LSD is fun.
