All Photons Move at 300,000km/s.... But Don't?

So the troll takes the thread while Rajesh and paddoboy say not one damned thing?

Y'all are lame.

Rajesh probably agrees...peas in a pod sort of thing.
Me? If you are speaking of whom I think you are, I have already addressed a couple of posts that belong to said party.
As I probably bore many in continually saying...science forums such as this, are the only outlet the trolls and alternative brigade have.
All we can do is keep refuting their crap, and hope in time, the thread will be either moved to appropriate quarters, or closed.

photon has no mass no charge, how can it carry any energy?

how can em field move at c speed? em field is stick with their force carriers. unless the moving em field is produced by photon itself? which is impossible.

am i have a point?

With few exceptions, I doubt ANY of the science-minded folk on this forum would shed a tear if several of the members listed there left and never came back... mostly because it would mean less time spent refuting the same bullshit pseudoscience over and over again.
It's really to bad. One of the bigger problems is so many threads are started by those who consistently spew nonsense in the name of science.

You am not have any point.
You are trolling.
Your question has been answered many times.
Am ever heard of momentum? Light am has momentum.
I even gave you a link supporting it.
Why are you such a dishonest fool?

p=m x v, that's momentum

e=h x frequency, is not momentum, just a theory been accepted by some scientists.

without mass, there would be no momentum.

scientists can invent words and things, such as graviton, photon, gluons, energy levels and orbitals. xxxholes etc.

i am sure some will agree with me.

Do you not know what "theory" means?

Scientists invent words to describe things they discover or observe. What you're doing is just making stuff up.

they observed grviton? photon? gluons? observed strong and weak forces? observed electron circling/waving/clouding the proton?

why can't they observe atoms are not compressible as model suggested atoms are 99.99% empty space within? why can't they observe electrons are not discharging into proton as C's law predicted, while we all can observe those all the time?

do you have an open mind for science or anything at all?

Please stop posting nonsense and being abusive.

Abstract:

Measuring Photon Momentum:

The quantum of EM radiation we call a photon has propoerties analogous to particles we can see like grains of sand. A photon interacts as a unit when in collisions or when absorbed, rather than as an extensive wave. Massive quanta like electrons also act like macroscopic particles, something we expect because they are the smallest units of matter. Particles carry momentum as well as energy. Despite photons having no mass, there has long been evidence that EM radiation carries momentum. (Maxwell and others who studied EM waves, predicted that they would carry momentum) It is now a well established fact that photons do have momentum. In fact photon momentum is suggested by the photoelectric effect, where photons knock electrons out of a substance. Fig 1 shows macroscopic evidence of photon momentum.

without mass, there would be no momentum.
.

Besides the solar sail evidence that photons do have momentum, we also have as mentioned in the paper in my last post, comets and their tails.

So once again jcc is in the poop, but who wants to bet he'll ask the same question again tomorrow, if he is not banned again before then.

solar sail bigger than earth?

how much solar wind blow on earth? are we moving away from the sun?

open your palm dividing above and below

reach your arm defining west and east

point a finger tingling the sun

kiss the moon with soft dreams

SOLAR SAILING
FLIGHT BY LIGHT
LightSail™ is a citizen-funded project by The Planetary Society, the world's largest non-profit space advocacy group. We’re sending two small spacecraft into Earth orbit carrying large, reflective sails measuring 32 square meters (344 square feet). Our first mission is a May 2015 test flight that will pave the way for a second, full-fledged solar sailing demonstration in 2016.

Solar sails use the sun’s energy as a method of propulsion—flight by light. Light is made of packets of energy called photons. While photons have no mass, a photon traveling as a packet of light has energy and momentum.

PHOTONS HAVE ENERGY AND MOMENTUM

THE PHOTONS REFLECT OFF THE SAIL, TRANSFERRING MOMENTUM
Solar sail spacecraft capture light momentum with large, lightweight mirrored surfaces—sails. As light reflects off a sail, most of its momentum is transferred, pushing on the sail. The resulting acceleration is small, but continuous. Unlike chemical rockets that provide short bursts of thrust, solar sails thrust continuously and can reach higher speeds over time.
