it was a mistake,
i forgot that i already posted this
(
sorry
O.K sack him.
But it's such a good site.|| The two threads were posted 1 minute apart. This was deliberate. Since you already received a warning for this I suggest you don't do it again.
No way.
Stop trying to steal Shadows members.
Shadow, you are going too far.
I am one of the few here, along with Enmos and a couple others, to actually join your site. At first, my understanding was that you were building a "chat room" for Sci members, and I thought it would be an interesting experiment.
As we all know, management does not want to officially endorse a Sci chat room at this time, so I kind of admired you for trying the concept out. If you had restrained yourself to just "chat", and promoted it gently (properly), perhaps by inviting an individual member now and then to come chat about some inane subject not quite up to the standards of an actual Sci "post", you might have been successful.
I thought perhaps, eventually, Sci itself might have incorporated some form of live chat for its members, as it is a different mode of communicating - much faster, more like a natural conversation giving the impression of "socializing", maybe even forming a tighter community than before. Ironically, the socializing bit is one of the things that management, along with several members, seem to have an objection to in the first place (I think).
I do not know all the reasons why, but this is their site, so that's fine. My thoughts were that it might pull some of the chit-chat off the regular boards over to the "chat" side, reserving the actual fora for "serious" conversation.
However, now you have started to post blogs covering certain science topics, etc - it's almost like you are creating a competitive site to Sci. There is a fine line between partnership and competition / interference, and I think you have crossed it. Personally, I would advocate leniency (to some degree), especially because of your age - 15 years, right?
Nonetheless, you are obviously bright and are expected to follow the rules here regardless of your age. So what to make of recent allegations? Double posting, apparently deliberate? Socks, or at least shared IP's with Search and Destroy while pretending you know nothing of it? Continuous promotion of Tunisia (not necessarily a bad thing in itself, but getting quite tiresome)? And, lastly, spamming "your" new site all over Sci?
You're really pushing it, and your going to end up banished. Back off a little, get rid of the rest of the crap on your chat site, take things a little slower, and you might have a chance. Other than that, you're just proving management's point - there is no room for "chat" on Sci. Congratulations...
(These are just my own opinions, and do not necessarily reflect those of management. Also, no animals were harmed in the making of this post.)
