What would you like to see installed on SciForums?

Can we upload minds to internet already ? If so, I would like to be installed on SicForums so I can do some other stuff myself.
 
the ability to attach files to PMs, tiassa and i were trying to send some stuff to eachother and we ended up having to do it in quite a convoluted way because we couldnt just send the file.

oh and bigger inboxes
 
I would very much like a delete option for the visitor messages, so I can delete them when I post them in the wrong place again.. sigh.
 
Facepalm

A (hopefully) small request

Once upon a time, in response to a request, Plazma installed a peace emoticon: :peace:

I would like to further request that we explore the possibility of getting a facepalm emoticon, perhaps similar to this: .

It's not that I don't appreciate all the Picard pictures, but I think :facepalm: would probably be easier than tagging an image.
 
What we need is an addition to the "Who's Online" quicklink.
Currently all we get is something along the lines of "Replying to thread XXX".
What's needed is "Replying to thread XX: but it's not worth reading that post" or
"Replying to thread XX: it'll make your blood boil" or
"Replying to thread XX: ho hum, someone let the woo woo at the keyboard again".

I'd like to see a version of the "Stundie" awards like they have on JREF.

When a woo woo posts a particularly inane response..you can nominate them for the monthly Stundie award.

They also have a "nominate" button for particularly eloquent and meaningful posts. If you win, you get title added under your name.

Sounds like a great idea.

But wouldn't it get tiresome after a few months of Bishadi constantly winning?
 
plazma i dont know if you have fixed this or if you can but if possable could you fix the problem which means if you type in the box and then hit "post reply" ABOVE the box the post disapears when it goes advanced

Which browser do you use?
Also, if you type longer reply, I suggest using standard reply option, not Post Quick Reply.
 
explorer and its the standed reply button im talking about. I keep forgetting that whatever i have typed in the quick reply box disapears if you hit the reply button (rather than post quick reply button under the box)

Facepalm is necessary emoticon IMHO.

From now on you could type

and you'll get this :facepalm:

Or you could choose the emoticon from the list.
