"The Wise and God". A dialogue. A reflection...

You did such a great job I must admit ... you get a free pass to the Creationist Museum...the replica of the ark (hiding the office block on its back side)
with interesting biblical displays including humans maniquins riding dinosaurs (human maniquins is that a tautology?) and enjoy a misguided tour by Ken (scam) Ham...who knows you could run into Ray giving a banana demonstration.

Unfortunately darwinist gets to be the guests at the home of Piltdown man. And if they’re really lucky they get to go on a trip to see pakicetus turn into a whale. But they have to get tickets from Ernst Haeckel. Be careful though, I heard he’s a bit dodgy, they just may be forgeries.

Piltdown man.

It seems Charles Dawson was behind the fraud a religious name maybe I don't know.

They were onto him from the start but could not prove he was a fraud and as he was am exlawyer folk had to wait until there could be no arguement to contradict that it was a hoax.

He seems to have committed a few hoaxes.

I can't find out if he was religious or not..maybe not given the fraud was to establish a missing link.

Creationists present the hoax as their only weapon against the fossil record unsuccessfully but they have nothing else so they still bang on about it.

What’s that got to do with anything!

About Religions what I have to say is that my ideas don't cover the topic of saving the "souls" (or "minds") what seem to be a main topic in them. I leave the subject for them. Particularly I don't care what God would do with my soul. He can do whatever he would want that I won't care.
What I'm worried is about the instauration of what Religions would call "the promised new world". I think on what would be missing for it to come into place once for all.
With this in mind what I have to say to Religions is that:
"God could have troubles and maybe we could help someway.
If religions would have that into account they would stay in peace each one looking in an own way for the problems God could have and how a help could be given because they would be the real cause that prevent him set up the new promised world.
A matter of real faith...”

For me "soul" is synonym of "mind".

Post your point.
Why do regard soul as anything like the mind?

My point is that it is one thing to not believe in God, but it is another thing to say you believe in God, but think of God as deficient.

Why not? That's what I saw stated sometimes and I think is a right relation. They as the same thing.

God couldn't be so omniscient, omnipotent and perfect if being in troubles isn't it? Right, it wouldn't match the dictionary's definition, isn't it? Well I believe in God as a superior intelligence, omniscient and omnipotent enough to create the Universe but I believe it could be no so perfect as something must have gone wrong in the creation, escaping to his previsions, and for the worst it affected himself someway to not being able to fix the things yet…

I’ve seen that correlation also.
Why do you think it is?

I agree.

Okay, I get you.
So why do you think God’s creation has gone wrong?

I don't know why. I just find it right.

Because too much bad things happens in the world and life. Too much diseases, calamities, catastrophes, tragedies. They would not be allowed by a good God in his creation. The unique explanation I find is that something went wrong...

I believe in Descartes' rationalism and the body/mind dualism. Body and mind two separated things...
No they are not
Mind is an emergent property of the survival instinct in a highly developed brain.
The main function of the brain interoception, control of the body's functions. Interoception is what keeps your body alive, the single most important survival function.
Self-awareness is a fortunate by-product of emergent sophisticated associative abilities. Think evolution, not irreducible complexity.

Yes..I noticed after I finished writing my post but I though no one will notice...post reply.

So you noticed .....I feel so much better that your God is just interested in vengeance ...of course...makes everything right...so sending someone to hell would be vengeance then?

Alex
No, no. That's an act of love.....

Well, my good God, the God I believe, would not want such bad things to be lived by his beings, those he has created. He would have planned an ideal kind of life for them. Should I explain this kind of things? Aren't they obvious?

I think you’re right when you say God doesn’t want bad things to happen to His creation.
But I think you’re mistaken when you say God hasn’t put anything in place to prevent bad things happening.
The Ten Commandments, is an obvious protection against bad things happening. But there are instructions for every community, if they care to adopt the principles of adoption. We choose how we want to live. Our choices are responsible for our present condition.

Do you really think the Ten Commandments would prevent all diseases, calamities, catastrophes and tragedies that happen in the world? Sorry, impossible to agree… By the way, I think our discussion goes nowhere...

If you want to stop discussing with me that’s okay. But to say it’s going nowhere, I think is an exaggeration.

How do diseases come about in the first place?
Did the Coronavirus or Covid19 have a cause?
And could that cause have been prevented, or averted with strong immune systems?
What are the causes of weak immune systems?

Wiki- Your immune system can be weakened by certain medicines, for example. ... Your immune system can also be weakened by smoking, alcohol, and poor nutrition. AIDS. HIV, which causes AIDS, is an acquired viral infection that destroys important white blood cells and weakens the immune system.

Any case, in an ideal kind of life planned by a good God that thing never happened. Got it?
