If you would prefer to believe that most people are unique or that you exist above determinism then you can state your case.

Women, like men, are a product of natural selection and they exhibit the common traits of this heritage.
Underneath it all it is this metaphysical pursuit of absoluteness and omnipotence.

It is men, or the masculine types, that prefer the company of those inferior to them. It has to do with domination and a challenging spirit.

The feminine is attracted to what she considers more than her.

Women stay with violent knobheads to feel good about themselves?

I'd say fear is the primary factor. Fear of recriminations, but also fear of being alone.

I would just ignore them or expel them like a piece of shit.
Wipe and flush thoroughly.

But these things only hold as long as the person strongly identifies themselves as either woman or man - that is, as long as health, wealth and youth allow for such an identification and make it meaningful.

In poverty, illness, old age these identifications break down, they cannot be maintained and are not meaningful anymore.
Then, different principles of engagement may set in.

Some certainly do it for such reason. But these relationships can be very complex.

And also a big fear is that she might not be able to establish herself, her identity and her values in some other way. Modern society is, after all, spiritually quite bankrupt, doesn't introduce people to many different ways of finding happiness in life.
