    Maybe I should give them a chance, as long as their songs aren't preachy, alot of californian punk bands seem to be trying to force everyone to love gays or some shit like that. Punk is supposed to be about doing what you feel like doing in the moment, somehow it seems in california they interpretted that to mean forcing others to accept what others are doing, it misses the point because punk is about teenage absent mindedness in it's most basic animalistic form.
    A punk shouldn't care about gays not getting equal rights, or even know about such issues, at worst they're annoyed that they can't kick a hobo in the face, ideally they just kick the hobo and don't give a fuck about what anyone says.
    There shouldn't be anything wussy about punk, complaining about gay rights and racism is wussy.

    In principal I love punk music, but it seems so rare to find punk that understands punk, the more simple and rough the songs are the better, less chance to ruin it with some misplaced political message.
