Well, this doesn't work well, with something blocking one of the antidotes, we can't convert as many people
I fear this is over, they may already have won, If challenger isn't an alien I fear there is no hope...
The Enemy Within - NIGHT 3 On the third night, the base personnel again gather to vote. The personnel worry that no real progress has been made today in finding the aliens. The Commander (anti-climactic) could surely have swapped some roles, even at random, just to be safer, because up to this point the aliens have had everything their own way. But this has not been done. The antidote was used on the Security Guard (Betrayer0fHope) for the second day running, when common sense would have said use it on somebody else. If B0H was to be an alien today, he must have been converted last night. Whereas, with almost any other player, if they were an alien, they could have been converted on any one of the previous 3 nights. So, a random antidoting of just about anybody else would have made more sense. And what was the logical (as opposed to emotional) reason for suspecting B0H today? The other dose of antidote apparently failed today. Perhaps humans can guess why by now. The Cleaner (Asguard) has been moved to the Outstation by the Driver (CheskiChips). Asguard perhaps does not have as useful a power as some others in revealing aliens, so this decision also might be questioned. However, the Cleaner will be safe from conversion by aliens tonight, if he is not already an alien. Nobody has been prevented from voting today by being given dog-feeding duty. This was the same as yesterday. Obviously, humans aren't worried about suspicious people getting a vote. The Physicist (BlueMoose) has chosen to apply his EM pulse to the Biologist (11parcal) tonight. If 11parcal is an alien, this will prevent him from using any alien powers tonight. The vote is taken. The result is: Psychologist (Enmos): 1 vote against (B0H) Radio Operator (phoenix2634): 1 vote against (CheskiChips) Security Guard (Betrayer0fHope): 1 vote against (Challenger78) No kill: 1 vote (phoenix2634) Commander (anti-climactic): 2 votes against (Enmos, inzomnia) Cook (Challenger78): 6 votes against (anti-climactic, nietzschefan, 11parcal, sisyphus__, Asguard, BlueMoose) The verdict is: somebody must die tonight, and it is the Cook. The Cook (Challenger78) is now irrevocably DEAD, and can play no further part in the game. It can now be revealed that the Cook was NOT an alien. Night 3 falls, and the personnel look forward to a very nervous night. With 6 votes for a non-alien, something seems very fishy indeed... Aliens may now talk to each other by PM. All aliens must send me their conversion vote by PM. Those with any special powers they wish to use tonight or tomorrow should also PM me the details of those choices. It is now NIGHT 3. NIGHT 3 will end between about 12:01 am and 2:00 am UT (GMT) on 2 October. This thread will be closed until NIGHT 3 ends.
Sorry. I'm running a bit behind time here. This thread will open again within the next half hour or so.
The Enemy Within: DAY 4 DAY 4 dawns. DAY 4 will last until between 12 midnight and 2 am UT (GMT) on 3 October. Aliens may NOT PM each other now. Everybody is free to talk in this thread. Some information will be sent out shortly to certain players by PM.
It is a shame to kill challanger, when he is no alien. This means, there are few humans left, although the humans left may not stand a chance we still have some strong powers.
That's probably why you were killed. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Can't blame me...I voted no kill. :m: Speaking of which...for now... vote: no kill
Last time, 11parcal can not administer antidote to Enmos, but right on that day, as I investigated Enmos, Enmos was found clean. The day before that, Enmos psychoanalyze 11parcal, and the result also 11parcal was clean. Yesterday, 11parcal can not administer antidote to Asguard. It is clear now that there is an alien who could block the power of 11parcal (and maybe doctor power too) in administering antidote. I can understand if it doesn't work on Enmos. Before I investigated him, I was suspicious that he was an alien. But Asguard?? What is the benefit for the alien to block the antidote on Asguard? Why would the alien block the antidote? If Asguard is an alien, it could be that Cheskichips is also an alien. What was the benefit for protecting Asguard in the outstation last night? There are vital role to be protected e.g reporter, psychoanalyst, doctor, biologist, and physicist. Among those names, reporter was clean as she was given antidote and then protected the night after. The physicist was also clean as he was psychoanalyzed yesterday. BetrayerofHope was also a role which is confirmed human. But why protecting Asguard without knowing he was human or not? Could it be that the driver is an alien or he was just panic? It is day 4 already. We have wasted too many power and vote, and time is running. I am between voting Asguard and Cheski. However, as Cheski protected me the night before, I would like to assume that he was not alien. For now: Vote: Asguard Until I find out why was the antidote to Asguard was block, I'll go with that vote. Meanwhile: Investigate: 11parcal I will send investigation PM to James within 3 hours or so, until many of you are online and give me some feedback. I can only investigate one person at a time. My decision to investigate 11parcal instead of Asguard is that because both of them are suspicious, but I could not vote for 11parcal, because we need him to administer antidote. However, if 11parcal is proven to be alien, I will cancel my vote on Asguard.
This is bullshit. The three posters above me are Alien. And at one point I recall claiming all 3 were alien.
