Sure, I've worked with them in the building trades for over twenty years.

The only decent restaurants around here are run by muslims.

The guy who replaces the batteries in my watches is a muslim...although an extremely moderate one.

He hushes up any conversation of Islam when his brother walks in the room, whos about as hardcore as you can get.

How many of them follow the Hadiths and practice sharia ?

 

It wouldnt be legal to follow a barbaric set of ideals like Sharia where I live...but I imagine most of them would like to.

The guy at the local quickymart told me the other day that hes turning over a new leaf and going to study with some local muslim scholars. Hes giving up rap music forever!

 

All of them are following sharia. They could'nt not do so, if they are Muslims.

 

A couple of my best friends are muslims. I only found out after becoming their best friends, ofcourse, and annoyingly.

 

I invite you and DiamondHearts to make an honest assessment of which parts of Sharia would be illegal in the US.

Dr Lou Natic: I hate when that happens! Here's some advice: before becoming best friends with someone, conduct a simple test. Offer your potential friend a ham sandwich. If they refuse, for whatever reason, then chances are they're probably Muslim. This way, you don't have to ask them directly what their religion is, and you can additionally keep away those pesky vegetarians and money-grubbing Jews in the process. Of course, I'm sure your eye is trained well enough to spot a Jew from a fifty-foot distance, but still ... you never know.
