If you are a non Muslim, do you have friends who are Muslim? And the Muslims here do you have friends who are not Muslims?
well I keep on asking this Muslim girl to marry me, but she keeps on declining...I guess she does not want to be my intimate Muslim friend...citing it on how old she is...
I do not ask anyone their religion for , to me, that's their PERSONAL choice. I only base my friendship as to how they treat and respect me.
I am a Muslim and I have Muslim as well as non-Muslim friends. In Indonesia, most of my friends are Muslims. Here in Germany, I have a couple of Muslim friends but they are all married, so they are busy with their family. So, in Germany most of my friends are non-Muslim. I can count them all with my fingers. The rest are formal or professional friends.
I voted that I do, but I really haven't had contact with my Muslim friends for a number of years. I used to work with a guy who was a very devout Muslim, and we got kind of close, we talked about religion a lot. He gave me a copy of the Koran, but he made me promise to always keep it on the top shelf of my book shelf. We kept in touch for a while after I quit that job, but we eventually lost touch. Then I was really close to a guy from Iran at the same job. He wasn't a practicing Muslim though. We got very close though. I considered him a best friend for a long time. I lost touch with him though, and have been unable to track him down. Last I talked to him, he was considering moving back to Iran.
So you have known one devout and one not so devout Muslim. Would you care to offer your opinions on them?
They were Muslims, probably the only ones you knew so well. What was your opinion of them as Muslims?
What about my opinion? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Why am I not asked to write testimony?
I didn't have an opinion on them as Muslims. I thought that Hyatt (the devout one) was a really nice person. Everybody who worked there liked him. He was the first devout Muslim I ever met, and I guess he left a very good first impression. Mo (the not so devout one) was the one I got really close to though. He was raised as a Muslim, but really wasn't interested in religion. I guess I don't really form an opinion on people based on their religion. If they are good people, then I like them, no matter what they believe. I wouldn't really say that either of them were any different from anybody else in the big picture.
Well you are much like me in that respect. All my friends are non Muslims at present [IRL, you have seen some of them Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!] So I am not as curious. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! But you could expand for our devoted readers.
Ok. I thought that my opinion is insignificant :bawl: j/k. It will be a very long list, so I don't think I will write today Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Hay, Norsefire, you have voted but why you don't say a word?
why? geography? perhaps a fear of being beheaded for your heathen ways? if i were a pope or imam, i believe i can make substantial numbers of the devout into killers. jihad and the lords work type shit ja i believe i can watch your back, peeps i implore you!
You'd have better luck with atheists, the world records for massacres are all held by athiests. Do you have any Muslim friends?
i know quite a few people who are muslims but its never come up in discussion except for one guy who was an absolute prick who thought his heritage made him superior to everyone else.the only other guy ive talked to about it was only a muslim because it was the only way his parents in law would let him marry his wife.
No, and I wouldnt consider it after having listened to the muslims on this board for years. Further, I'm in favour of barring confessed muslims from entering the country.
